Kendo is a martial art in the same way as boxing.

Unsuitable to actual combat, but it teaches the basics and prepares oneself physically and mentally.

Boxing is actually very effective on the street, against untrained and unarmed opponents.
In hand to hand combat on the battlefield though, it is inferior to more sophisticated and effective martial arts like Sambo or MCMAP.

Boxing isn't an all too effective form except in an arena. You might know how to punch and keep yourself on balance, but that is fuckall if you're on the ground and getting into a grapple.

I'm not very good at drawing and designing the specs of weapons etc. I barely understand it, so I usually buy or use RL stuff. I am careful though as Trackers say my budget is only 11 Million, but I don't want my nation to lose its socialist edge. So its difficult to decide what I can buy and how much. Price over quality.

Try something along the lines of the Type-81 assault rifle. It might look like a Chinese rip-off of the AKM, but it's more durable, more accurate, has less recoil and is just as reliable. Production cost is around $300-$400 if I remember correctly, which is pretty cheap, so it should work for your given budget.

There is no question of DI's reliability.

It is the operator, not the user.

The simplest ultra-compact armor-piercing bullpup you'll find on the market to ever pass muster in NS-Draftroom as a rifle capable of shooting holes into a Gundam Mobile-Suit.

Just litterally wave your arm at the target and squeeze the trigger, problem solved!

No safeties or fire-selectors to worry about, just retract the bolt, open the dust cover and you're good to go for semi-auto and fully-auto based on how hard you pull the trigger.

It's simply amazing!

BTW, grenade-launcher is fitted alongside the gun to be operated by the rear supporting-hand.

So do yourself a favor, get something that has withstood the test of time, pick up a Hurty and "Hurt em plenty" with it.

But don't take our word for it, take the words of the deleted trolls heaping praise on this glorious machine!



BTW: as noted, these things were meant to operate in the harsh winter climates associated with DMG by untrained simians, hence the lack of a trigger-gaurd as it was widely believed their fingers would fall-off from frostbite after only 5 days of fighting.

Alternately, this rifle can be used by limp-wristed armless child-conscript soldiers with speech impediments.

All at a price far below the nearest competitor, the SIG SG 550. To be far it is't the sports car of the the AK family like the 550.

Do you have any ideas on how to avoid the whole "donut" pattern produced by the rifling? According to the Box 'O Truth, rifling really messes up your groupings.

Well, yeah, it's supposed to look cheap. It's an authentic reproduction . From what I've read, once seaxes/Langsaxes reach that sort of length they're less back up weapons and more the poor man's version of a sword. Easier to make, relatively low quality but still capable of hacking your opponent to pieces.

That sounds like a cop out to me. Especially the price they quoted. Thank you, but the runes are not the names of the weapons but the qualities that the owners hope to impart to them. Runes are magical when carved, see.
