I ACTUALLY ISSUE COMMANDO MORTARS

A man's weapon:



There is, quite literally, no better weapon for the individual infantry platoon than the 60mm mortar.

It's not mainline issue. Yet.
I issue a 50.8mm two-man mortar capable of being operated by a single trooper to every other front-line operator in the Spetsnaz, so that Spetsnaz consists entirely of two-man mortar teams, on operations significant enough to require their use.

Inspired completely off of a WWII British 50.8mm (2 inch) mortar.

I feel it would, I'm just being original.
I like making my army sound seemingly backwards with their reliance on gun and mortar weapons over the (admittedly substantial) missile arsenals. And then, whilst the enemy is rolling in their trenches laughing about it, I use my ECM to blind their missile systems, then bomb and strafe the hell out of said trenches. With PMT wank AI close-air support craft.

It's not hate... more mild dislike.
The way that the stock and grip are connected, but so slightly, just doesn't sit with me. Either make the pistol grip a real part of the stock (not sure how to better phrase that), or separate them.

I tried my best, but I'll work on connecting them better. Thanks for the advice though.

Standard Assault riffle is the M16, Scar-H/L being used too but less as they are more expansive.
Barrett .50 call for snipers
Spas-12 for shotgun
RPK for Heavy Firepower
FGM-148 Javelin as main AA/AT weapon
MP5K for silenced operations.

Basic Squad is:
16 Soldiers
1 Squad leader ("Sergeant")
1 Squad leader Assisant ('The Right Hand')
1 Sergeant Bodyguard
1 Radio/Intel member ('Vox Caster')
1 Medic
2 Long Range soldiers (Barrett, Scar-H, Spotter Gear)
2 Short Range soldiers (Spas-12, Scar-L)
1 Heavy (RPK)
1 Heavy sidekick (Target callout, you-know-what)
2 Regular + AA (M16 + Javelin)
3 Regular (M16/Scar-H + Extra Missle's/Ammo)

Take the RPK out, and switch to something American. Would save you the ammunition, and having to have a seperate line for that Russian stuff.

Everything in that list makes sense apart from the RPK. It's Russian, it's super-old, and it's not very useful. The M60 would have been a better choice both logistically and physically for the role. The M240 would be even better.

Also, while you can use the Javelin in an AA role, there are much more effective dedicated SAM launchers available. Don't forget the Javelin is, first and foremost, a long-range anti-tank weapon.

Because Galla doesn't need stocks or handguards, I slightly revised the design to be more realistic and acceptable.
