I told you; the 5.56mm STANAG 30 round magazine. It's that 'US military 30 rounder', yes.

I did consider making a PMAG style thing, but I'm too tired for that.

Right, sorry, it's just that I thought that just about all 5.56mm mags were STANAG. And fair enough. I think I prefer the 20 round mags to a 30 round polymer one anyway. They just seem to fit the gun.

Well, STANAG-compliant, but the aluminium box was the original STANAG basis.

And that's not necessarily true. The FAMAS F1, for example.

The only thing that I can think of would be a LSW version, but I'm not sure how much use it would be and how well it would sell.

What? I'd like a source for that claim.

If that's a loaded weight, that's actually about right, judging by the 4.17kg weight of the MAT-49. How many rounds in the magazine?

AKM: 3.1 kg (6.83 lb)
AKML: 3.80 kg (8.4 lb)
AKMS: 3.3 kg (7.3 lb)
AKMSN: 3.77 kg (8.3 lb)

Considering the fact that the MAT-49, a submachine gun, is 4.1kg when loaded, it's not difficult to do the maths.

AKM when loaded is 4.34kg.

Is that stock meant to fold?

Yes, much the same way as the AK-100 series.

Really interesting piece of work here, I actually like to see designs which are a little more flawed, rather than the typical, 6mm calibre uber caseless bullpups there are so many of.

I might well buy this with one of my puppets, if it's for sale.

Anemos, I'd like to request something from you.

You see, the biggest problem I have with weapons is the stocks, they're usually too short or too long.

Can you do an AK - style stock for me?

You know that will never happen, but I take that as high praise indeed, nonetheless. Thanks!

On your suggestions:
-The rear sight was a shamelessly botched GALIL ripoff that took me two seconds, just so I could post a more-or-less complete rifle on this thread. Ideally, I'd like an HK-style drum sight there but that's going to take me forever to draw.
-The stock is the same as the old Zr.64 AKM-style stock, except it's polymerised and now folds. I think I'll draw some detail onto it and eventually replace it with an original shock-absorbing stock.
-Agreed, on it.

I think it's because the stock doesn't angle down, like an AK-type stock would, and is too high for the sights? I remember I had that issue with my SA-AR-3 rifle.
