How do you treat your males,females, and children?

Legally speaking, all men, women, and children have equal standing and rights before the law.

Culturally, though, it varies. Derscon has had a long history of maintaining so called "traditional family values," but these have really only stayed in great popularity on Terran Derscon and the subsidiary states.

Males and females are equal and you are adult when you are 16.

Children have all right's, except joining the military, at age 13.

For the most part, there's equality. However, women are allowed to get away with more in the way of public nudity and sexual aggressiveness, and children don't earn certain rights until they reach certain ages (for example, they can't drink alcohol before age 15).

Terra Publica is pretty much the same. We broke of from the government of an authoritaran and misoginistic dictator. We know what it is like to be oppressed.

Children: Treated the same as men, all children can join/be drafted into the military. Children are seen no different than men, they must work and support their families. They must serve at least 1 year in the military before age 18. Age 8 is seen as a man, starting at age 8 they must get a job or join the military. They also must have atleast 1 child before age 14. However, if their voice has not deepened by age 9, they will be drafted into our special childrens regiment until age 74.

Women: Banned from the military, women must stay at home if they are married, but if they are single they must work on minimum pay. If they have children, the children are in control of the women.

Men and women are equal before the law, though more often than not, it is the man who is the sole breadwinner of the household (roughly 74% of the time), as it is still a relatively conservative society, albeit with extreme libertarian tolerance. However, virtually all men and women, boys and girls, are well trained in the use of firearms, as it is pretty much the national pastime. It's also expected that people know some form of unarmed combat, though the people most intense about this hail from the northern climes. The legal age of consent is 14 and people are legally adults at 17.
