The average is about nine weeks across all five Service Branches, varying by a few days in each case.

Keep in mind, this is only the basic training stage, known as Basic Military Training, the preparation and indoctrination which all recruits must go through. Advanced training routines may vary in length and focus.

Children are conscripted into the Youth Corps at age 16 for a minimum of three years. The National Service constitutes 'basic training'. Those who wish to move into a military career take on a fourth year of training with specialist units in their chosen branch. Prospective Air Force aircrew actually officially serve a fifth year of Youth Corps service due to aircrew training, before transferring to the air force proper to continue their air training. Children of government officials and Spetsnaz forces are earmarked for Spetsnaz as their fourth-year option, though they do accept 'exceptional' volunteers from the wider Youth Corps.
The Youth Corps is a non-combat unit for the obvious reason.

The first three months is 'basic' basic training - drill, deportment, discipline. Also firearms drill and shooting skill. The remaining time in the Youth Corps consists of sixth months of 'active service' per year, two months of additional training in a variety of increasingly specialist skills (since after the Youth Corps, all citizens are listed as reservists), two months 'internment' (stationed at a barracks) and two months of refresher training.

Core training for all branches: 15 weeks

Required Army advanced training: 14 weeks

Required Navy advanced training: 14 weeks

Required Air Force advanced training: 13 weeks

Required Badger Special Forces advanced training (must succeed Army or Navy advanced training and be approved): 25 week Boot Camp
Followed by boot camp: 7 week leadership role and skills training (LRS-Training)

Once the above are finished, you're required to take a 14 week training boot camp for either the Navy BSF or Army BSF.

Oh yeah, and you wouldn't do all of this at once. Spend a couple years in the Army or navy, then move onto BSF.

Edit* A few errors

Our nation follows two major doctrines in organizing its military: 1. supporting arms are just that, supporting. If you don't have a good infantry to back it up, everything else is useless. in the same way that if you don't have a spine, enormous bulging biceps are useless. 2. Highly trained troops with terrible guns > poorly trained troops with awesome guns. small, highly trained units > enormous peasant conscript armies.

And as a result of these, training is extremely important in the development of our military. Technically, there is no "basic training", although units are not allowed to be deployed in actual combat for at least six months. Our troops are constantly training, whenever not on deployment. which means the troops in the Home Defense Corps, which never deploys except when we are being invaded, may spend their entire mandatory two-year term of service training. The Expeditionary Corps, which is voluntary, follows the same training schedule, although their training is considered better, and may be interrupted by periodic deployments to assist allies.

Troops will learn the bare minimum of everything within two months, and will continue to practice advanced techniques, combat simulations, history of warfare and philosophy of warfare for the rest of their careers.

Regardless of branch, everyone must go through a 10 week Basic Military Qualification course where they are familiarized with the main weapons of the military and learn extremely basic combat skills. After that, everyone goes to different training based on the job they have chosen.

Recruits for the Nation of Spiritwolf must come from the High School JROTC program or from a University ROTC program with a minimum of 2 years served honorably between the two programs. The recruits must also have completed a one month Pre-Basic Boot Camp course immediately prior to going to the actual service Boot Camp for the military branch they are joining (this preps the recruits physically and mentally for the rigors of actual boot camp training). Recruits may be accepted without these stated requirements if they can obtain a waiver from the Recruiting Command involved but they MUST still attend and pass the Pre-Basic Boot Camp course. Actual service boot camps vary in duration and difficulty and are primarily designed to produce basically trained Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen. Length of boot camps is as follows, Air Force is six weeks, Navy is eight weeks, Army is ten weeks, and the Marine Corps is twelve weeks. National Guardsmen attend Army boot camp and the Coast Guard attends the Navy boot camp. After Basic Training everyone then goes to their services MOS Schools to learn the trade, with the exception of the Marines who all attend MOS 0311 Infantry School before then going on to their actual trade MOS schools. This is done because ALL Marines are trained combat riflemen as well as performing whatever other duties they are assigned/trained for. The average washout rate is 15-20 percent of recruits inducted across the board for all services since Boot Camp is quite demanding physically and mentally. Semper Fi

Royal Marine basic training is 14 weeks for enlisted, 16 weeks for officers.
Royal Navy basic training is 12 weeks for terrestrial seamen.

158 weeks (3 years and change) for Space Marines, though, to learn proper EVA techniques and microgravity combat skills. Royal Navy starship crews' basic training is 144 weeks, to teach stellar seamanship with any kind of competency.

24 weeks for "Basic training across all branches, an added 6 weeks of training for specialization in there individual branch, and then 2 weeks of survival school.

Officers can add an extra 4 weeks of "Education" to prevent any holes in the leadership in case of war.

Specialized classes range from 2 weeks to two years.
