The Xenon Empire does at times need some heavy-hitting firepower that is portable enough for infantry use so that's when we bring out the anti-material guns.

The Ferus portable Railgun system [PMT]

(looks similar to this except with a longer barrel, less exposed hardware, and a larger scope)

This heavy gun functions as a heavy anti-material rifle for the Xenon Army it fires a 20mm, 150 gram hyper velocity tungsten slug at 10,000m/sec.

It has an effective range of 3000m and known to be extremely accurate.

Power is supplied to the weapon via a backpack power supply and ammunition is supplied by a 5 round detachable box magazine.

It is also relatively cheap and never jams.

The gun does have a few drawbacks mainly extreme recoil (still substantially less than a comparable primitive gunpowder firearm), excessive weight, and it at times has a few reliability issues mainly in the form of overheating after only a few shots, extreme rail wear causing rails to be needing replacement every 100-400 shots.

Then from there, I believe he said he had a friend who would be able to construct most of the parts from the 3D images.

I wish the same could be done about Anemos' weaponry.

Blender is powerful enough but the learning curve is staggering. I have a number of programs including 3ds Max which I'm fairly competent in but Blender continues to illued me.
Sketchup is easy enough to learn, but it is going to cost you in both time and money if you want to make something that looks presentable and fairly professional.

That said, Sketchup with Maxwell renderer is my tool of choice for most things.

Nifty. I don't know if the taser rounds should maybe have less propellant since you're not wanting the round to actually penetrate whoever you're shooting at? Currently it looks like it would have the same sort of muzzle velocity and similar penetrating power to the solid slug.

Also, on your lineart, if you try going round the edges of your gun with a slightly darker colour than the base then it gives the impression of a slight curve at those points, making the gun look a bit more 3D. Perhaps round off some of the sharper corners a bit as well, even if it's only removing the pixel on the corner. For an example, see how I've done the edges of the flat surfaces on the THR-432. All the corners are slightly rounded and there's a thin line of darker brown or grey around the edges, which I think make it look a bit smoother and less boxy. Just an idea.

This is the only answer I have to the boxy thing but I need to add curves and tone down the powder

The AR-3 has a really low-profile receiver, and I'm thinking about internals. I was looking at the P90's bolt group, which is horizontal rather than vertical. I realised that the P90 gets away with this partly by being blowback, partly by ejecting downwards. The RFB is forward-ejecting, so may not be much of a help.
I could make the AR-3 some form of delayed blowback to remove the gas components, but it's made it this long as a short-stroke weapon, so I'm not sure.

While I've mentioned the RFB, How does it get away with its 30-round magazine being so short relative to the rifle, while mine can't in the Doberman?
Finally, is it just me, or is the gas piston canted onto one side, and the ejection tube to the other?

Yep.

Anemos' AR9 (I think) used the same action. The gas tube was slightly offset.
