What in the fuck? I don't even know what to say. Not just the review, but the comments. Holy Christ. My favourite was the guy stating "My WASR is awesome: it keyholes at 50m and gets 2MOA."

Please, baby Jesus, let this be sarcasm.

Why? Just why? :(

I just read the rest of their AK-47 sub-forum topics. Guess tonight's another one of those "cry your self to sleep" nights.

Seriously: there was a thread over someone wondering why their slant brake was causing their gun to push hard-right when they had the opening facing left. Gee, I don't know. Must be aliens. Definitely not physics. :palm:

Then there's the fellow asking how to remove the piston from the bolt carrier and I counted at least three replies of "it just comes out with the bolt carrier." Why? Why do these people practice their first amendment so foolishly?

Then my favourite:
Some guy wrote:After a few tweaks and required cleaning with the new WASR 10, it’s off to the firing range for me. AK-47 is not necessarily a rifle that prides itself to be accurate but I was still impressed with the results. The ergonomic body of the WASR 10 makes it very easy to handle which might have contributed to the accuracy. The weight of WASR 10 is also the same as the original (4.3kgs). You’ll be surprised how the weight actually contributes to the stability. But be careful: the rifle is relatively stronger than expected. Start with 10 rounds or even less to gradually allow your body to adjust to the strength of AK-47 WASR 10. If you can muster 20 rounds without any trouble in aim, you can say you already tamed your AK-47 WASR 10.

Adjust to the strength of the WASR? Seriously? It's a fucking 7.62x39mm round. Jesus. I have had people who have never even touched a gun in their life shoot my WASR with no problems, and they were far from natural shooters (oh, were they ever). Is he hovering this thing over his scrotum or something? How in the shitcock would the recoil from an AKM be "stronger than expected" and necessitate that your body become used to it? "If you can muster 20 rounds without any trouble in aim, you can say you tamed your WASR." Just fucking no. If you can muster 20 rounds, I'd say it's a sign you can afford a box of ammunition. Tits. What is the logic behind this? There's no sense to be made here. What the shit is this fuck?

Here's another golden quote from this same post; the first sentence to be exact:
I was always fascinated with the rifle but never had the courage to own one.

Did he purge his digestive tract upon the sight of one of these rifles? What courage does one need to own a semi-automatic AK compared to, say, an AR-15 or any other firearm in the history of ever? Sweet baby Moses riding in a motorcycle sidecar...

The rifle has the same barrel length with the original AK-47 so you’ll practically have the same experience of the original.

I won't even...

What in the actual fuck?

Apologies for my language tonight, ladies and gentleman (guess who), but after a horrific day topped off by a "Surprise! Thirteen-hour shift!" at work, fuck it. This website did nothing but, well, screw it: I'll let the YouTube clips take over. They pretty much sum up my entire brain activity concerning this waste of bandwidth.

Didn't somebody post this rifle model long ago when I asked for that AK-AR hybrid? Cause I think I remember something like this.

I believe I have come to a decision as to my retcoing:

SR-95L & SR-95H (Designated ART-95 & BRT-95 respectively) will be standard issue for the Home Defense Corps, across all branches (Every New Cordian soldier is trained as a rifleman before moving on to specialist branches), in 7x40 SPAC & 7x55 Cordian respectively.

An updated & revamped MBR-13 (Designated MST-13) will be standard issue for the Expeditionary Corps. It will be modified for PCAP mounts, short stroke gas piston, and the Magpul G36 PMAGs used by the SR-95 family, as well as featuring the same Bayonet lugs, grenade launcher, optics package ect.

Backstory being: the SR-95 was created by Castle Arms of New Corda and HK of the Teutonic Federation as a standard rifle for NACO (Alt history version of NATO for my universe) forces, but was largely deemed a failure as the Federated States of America refused to accept a weapon derived from Varsaw Compact technology, or the 7x40 SPAC, and many other nations followed suit, adopting the FAL or AR-15 instead. However, the New Cordian Home Defense Corps was seeking a replacement for the ageing ART-18A1 assault rifle, and adopted the SR-95. The Expeditionary Corps, on the other hand, already had an AK-based weapon (the ART-84), and was satisfied with it. They did not chose to replace their ART-84s until 2013, and adopted the MBR-13, whose ammo-swapping capabilities were well suited to a force operating exclusively in other nations where the relatively proprietary 7x40 is not always available.

Suggestions?

Not sure. Looks like an SV98 stock, which was designed to deal with 7.62 Tsarist. Though check out the weediness of the Kord's stock for a 12.7x108 machine gun.
