Why the hell does everyone love the Deagle so much? It looks cool, yeah, but it's so impractical/heavy/trigger-pull-heavy/light on ammo. There's a reason that, to my knowledge, no actual military uses the thing.

I think it's more the movies. The Deagle in MW is total crap, so I don't know how much inventory that moved for it, overall. But yeah, it somehow got the media on its side.

Might be because of all the ''buff guy'' movies (Ahnold, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren). Though I can't blame them..

Honestly, Ahnold just wouldn't work with a damn PPK. Or a Beretta 92FS.

It's on the other side, to make it easier to use whilst keeping the finger on the trigger. A compact one, similar to the G36 in that you hold it and turn/fold/pull it out before yanking it back.

I'd known that this was the case, but it never really sank in until I held one at a gun show. The thing is ridiculous. Awesome, but ridiculous.

Could you use a Sawed offed Double barrel; shotgun for a sidearm? Or an emergency weapon? Have like a 12 inch barrel and load it with 3/0 Bucck.

A handgun is lighter, more accurate, longer ranged, faster loading and firing (even as a revolver, assuming speedloading) and carries more ammunition.

Emergency weapon then. As in you get surprised and your handgun just wont cut it. Light body armor would still leave the person fucked up from a double blast.

Use .45ACP.

Body armour'll stop it, but fire four rounds into their chest and they'd probably be on the floor and stunned from the impacts. Then rush them and end it with a head shot.

History:

After the Catlands skirmish in 2005, the USM decided that it's aging A-3 PDAR, would not be a viable choice for it's military any longer. Top designers were employed to design and construct the A-4 MPCR. Designed with both accuracy and Urban Combat in mind, the XA-4 was first deployed with USMSOC in 2007, during Operation Wafflestomp. Proving itself very effective, the rifle went into full scale production in 2008. Currently Serving with the USM's Army, Marine Corps, Special Operations Command, and civilian SWAT teams, it shows little signs of weakening any time soon.

History:

The SC-10 was first introduced in 2010, after the SC-8 was retired by the USM Navy. It's design was optimized for CQC engagements, hence the bullpup configuration. Praised for its compact design, and durability under fire, the SC-10 was quickly adopted the the Navy's SEAL teams. The only drawback is it's ammo capacity, however this problem is eliminated by 30 round, extended magazines.

History:

After years of unauthorized modifications to the A-3 PDAR, the MG-05 was commissioned. The MG-05A model, was ill-received by troops, due to its lack of a hand guard, and several dozen reports of the barrel exploding, due to overheating. The problems were quickly rectified, and the MG-05B model was introduced in late 2007 just before Operation Wafflestomp. The MG-05B proved itself in combat, and quickly shook the disrespect the A model had earned. Another variant, the MG-05B-M, is a mounted machine gun, that is deployed on top of the nation's HMF-109 Main Battle Tank.

Range: Accurate Range: 1000 Yards

History:

In 2007, during Operation Wafflestomp, USMSOC operatives were tasked with assassinating Ploochland's Inerior Ministry Minister. Due to the lack of a long range rifle, the target escaped unharmed. Outraged, the USMDOD ordered that a dedicated sniper rifle be put into production. The LR-2 is the result. It has high praise from the sniper teams who use it. If it's within 1000 yards, this rifle can kill it.
