Immigrants often come in large numbers to find jobs or to escape poverty; however, immigration laws bar people of Middle Eastern, West Asian, Mediterranean or African ethnicity from immigrating to the Imperium.

People from many regions of the world immigrate to Mainland Andocara. For the past 30 years Mainland Andocara has seen large waves of immigration from Asia and Oceania. In Latin Andocara however, its mostly people from specific countries and regions that are the sources of immigration. In the case of North Andocara, most immigrants come from French speaking countries, as well as French speaking overseas territories. In the case of South Andocara, the main source of immigrants is Latin America. This is because the de facto language of North Andocara is French and the de facto language of South Anodcara is Spanish. The de facto language for Mainland Andocara is English, but being the largest and most dominant region, it attracts immigrants from all over, rather than specific countries.
