KEPs are generally under 30mm.

I know, but most KEP rounds are fired from 120-125mm guns.
I'm thinking about making a loltank with a super-heavy gun. It's meant to be ridiculous, but I feel that a 30mm KEP in a 288mm gun barrel would be ludicrously ridiculous.

Make it fire multiple KEPs, like a shotgun firing flechettes. Fire dozens of KEPs and watch as they randomly hit vehicles and buildings destroying anything. TBH though, an HE shell from a gun that big would blow any tank apart except for a LOLTank, and then you should probably use HEAT if you want to go through a LOL tank, the only problem with range when using HEAT is the drop, it keeps the same penetration at all ranges. You would get about 2 meters of penetration from a copper lined HEAT round.

In his tank mode, he has the normal M256 Rheinmetall 120mm cannon, and the 7.62mm coaxial, but also has two autoloading Bofors 40mm autocannons and dual-mounted M2 machineguns. None of these are usable in his transformed states, however. The only shared weapon are eight Hellfire missiles, which go on racks of four on his shoulders when transformed. The weapons he uses in his robot mode are as follows: Four 37mm autocannons on a rack of four on his right arm, a 7.62mm chaingun and two large blades on his left, and, of course, the missiles. Even unarmed, Brawl is still a great threat to Autobots and humans that stand before him. His claws have a crushing force equal or greater than that of Megatron's, and are also very pointy and sharp. Brawl is known to toss Autobots aside with ease, and armed, he is an extreme danger to even the best fighter, or fighters. Getting caught under Brawl's hailstorm of fire is akin to feeling a battleship's wrath. Brawl has killed 13 Autobots.
Brawl has been described as "A very pissed off Decepticon...", and also very quiet. As one of the original eight Decepticons to battle with the Autobots on Earth, Brawl was killed by a concerted attack from an Autobot and the humans. Like most of the Decepticons, he was reawakened when the Allspark was destroyed, the flood of energy released that gave him another chance. Unlike most other Decepticons, he was awakened imediately, and was able to escape notice by transforming and posing as a human vehicle. The other Decepticons awoke at the bottom of the ocean, except for Megatron, whom would have to wait longer.

I only know him as an astronomer and philosopher, so my answer is "Not a clue." Doesn't change the fact that the attitude on certain posters in here, (and we all know who the most prominent one is), towards FT in general is "Hey, let's troll it." Granted, there seems to be a lot of newbs or n00bs who come in here and say they're FT, which hardly shines a light on it, but the same could equally be said for the PMT or MT levels.

lol, I liked that reference Kiev.
Anyway, I have a feeling that this is in reference to me, so I may as well throw my two cents in here. About 95% of what I see on these threads coming from FT is generally summed up as: picture, statblock, "wut u think 'bout my wank-tank/air-space fighter/gun/ridiculous weapon?", sometimes going out of their way to make a small write-up that generally explains little to nothing. They then post it these on threads that are commonly used for design critique. It isn't exactly rocket science to connect A to B on this.

Being completely serious, and while you may have done this and I haven't seen it, I don't see you advising any errant FT'ers on what would be better on their 'wank' designs. It's part of NS, that you help out other players where you can. So why not try it?

Yes, I have. A good portion of it was ignored, and the rest was responded to with pretty much "lol, k".
To be honest, FT seems to range from Pseudoscience to pure, full blown wank, with (maybe) a small community of hard-science FT'ers that I assume hides in II and never ventures to F&NI, because I've never seen them here. In fact, this is straight from the FT argument thread:Axis Nova wrote:Just go with whatever you think will be cool. Main Battle Tank is a term utilised to describe modern tanks that fulfil a variety of different roles, thus eliminating the need for various tanks to fulfil several roles. Three-quarters of a century ago, the term didn't exist, and neither did the concept; I doubt the concept of main battle tanks would apply to an FT nation's combat doctrine either, let alone that of a nation in a century's time.
This isn't the place for FT RPers, I'm afraid. Make a Main FT Armoured Vehicle of your Nation thread if you like, but this is an MT thread.

Wrong old boy. MBT is simply the tank that is most common in ones military. Really.
The Mark IV is an MBT just as the PzkfIV and the T-72.
The concept of the Universal Tank was pioneered by the commies in the form of the t-34, but otherwise modern MBTs are just heavy tanks.
