Senestrum wrote:Well yeah, but that applies to pretty much all tank stuff. Everything from crews (three or four strong, sweaty young men cooped up in a tiny vehicle with nothing to do? Mmm...), to the guns (just try and tell me Freud would not have had a field day with this), to the downright obsessive focus on penetration, to the battles they expect to fight (a massive soviet force ramming its way through the Fulda Gap against their will? Come on), the way the armor is distributed (the rear is the easiest part to penetrate? That can't be unintentional...), predominant ammo types (long, thick rods or hot jets of fluid? Please)...
Honestly, it's hard to think of a tank-related subject that doesn't have sexual overtones. I would love a serious freudian analysis of tank combat.

Glad someone deduced the origin of the name.
As for the flag, it's a humanized version of
What can I say, I got bored.

My tank can have the gun become automated, the commander just designates a target, states which ammo to use and moves on, the turret and gun move to properly aim at the target, track it, and when a shot is as likely as it will ever be under those situations it fires. Of course we still use a three man crew, although the 'N' variant of my medium tank may very well be a two man tank with even more armour.
Licana on the M-21A2 MBT: "Well, it is one of the most badass tanks on NS."
Vortiaganica: Lamoni I understand fully, of course. The two (Lamoni & Lyras) are more inseparable than the Clinton family and politics.
Triplebaconation: Lamoni commands a quiet respect that carries its own authority. He is the Mandela of NS.

Wait, you're a man? Apparently my spot-on gaydar screws with my gender sensor.
