Also, I approve of that 'salute' image in your Photobucket.
WWII-era Russian SP artillery.
How do the SU-122 (M-30) and SU-8-152 (ML-20) sound?
Also, does anyone know of a blueprint for the SU-8-152?
I've been on the lookout for one, but can't seem to find it anywhere....best I saw was one for a 76mm AA variant.

Leclerc armor thickness estimations
Abrams and base Leo2A4 armor thickness estimations (abrams lower front hull armor is like 5-600mm LOS, glacis plate is relatively thin steel but lolsloped, and also remember the Leo has addon armor packs like this floating around)
T-90 (left) and T-84 (right) turret armor:

CBA to scale it, but it's several hundred mm at least before ERA.
Lets compare what the Merkava Mk IV turret looks like before and after they drape an ungodly fuckload of armor on it.
This isn't even getting into the really silly late-cold-war MBT proposal territory. The CATTB had side turret armor a meter thick and frontal turret armor well over a meter thick, and I've seen armor even thicker than that on some proposals.
Edit: shit like this:

meter+ hull armor
and this
fucking stupid thick hull armor i mean christ wtf
this is the sort of armor thickness you want for a super-duper well-armored NS loltank
