I understand that it's built on a superheavy tank chassis, it just seems odd to have a SPAAG/TELAR that can't be air transported except one per An-124. I hope you have something lighter for when you need rapid deployment.

I am tempted to put my HAV-3 turret on the HAV-1 for lulz, if I ever get around to linearting the two.
FYI, my HAV-3 is this (minus the silly bit about anti-gravity rounds): http://digital-art-gallery.com/oid/7/12 ... al_art.jpg and the HAV-1 is basically something the size of an AMX-10RC.
Incidentally, the HAV-3 is just a HAV-2 hull with that turret, so the HAV-2 will have that hull.

No, the French oscillating turret designs mounted the revolver-type magazines.
That included the AMX 13, AMX 50, and the in-game Lorraine 40t and BatChatillion 25t.

Would giving it an Abrams engine help too? (Ignoring any structural redesign problems) 'Cause can't that work on almost any type of fuel, thus helping a bit with supply lines in extreme circumstances.

And would something like the TRT-25 work in the RWS? I'm guessing it might be a bit too big, but the 30mm cannon would definitely be a help against lighter vehicles which wouldn't warrant the power of the 140mm, and it still comes with a 7.62 MMG for use against infantry.

My guess it's smaller than a conventional diesel of the time it was introduced, which is the late 1970s/early 1980s. Modern diesels such as the EuroPowerPack have caught up in volume to power, but newer-model gas turbines like the LV100-5 and LV50-2 have much greater power densities, lower displacements, and improved fuel efficiency, approaching 50% within their optimum power band.

Well, I put a TRT-25 alike on my HAV-2, but even I was too concerned about the size of it and retconned it to being 70cm tall instead of a metre.

I feel it will probably be too large. However, I'd suggest trying to shoehorn in a 25 or 30mm gun as a coaxial, and have a 14.5mm machine gun as the commander's RWS. 14.5x114 is about twice as powerful as BMG.

Just about anythign you would ever realsitically consdier feeding to an AGT-1500 you could porbably feed to the MTU plants found on Leo 2s.

of coruse you should be adopting the NATO ideal of having everything running on JP8.

Biggest issue with the switch from a reciprocating ICE to a turbine is the gear box, your turbine engine itself will be much smaller but its gear box will be a fair bit bigger than the one for a conventional engine.
