I'd have to go with the 120mm cannons, simply for easier production, as that is already used with some of Mosasauria's artillery forces.

Ok, so in that range, there are multiple designs.
US- M1A2 Abrams, M1 Abrams CATTB
Germany- Leopard 2A6/2A7
Britain- Challenger 2 (has a rifled gun that isn't compatible with NATO 120mm ammo)
Ukraine- T-84-120 Yatagan
These are just a few. If anyone else could fill in the gaps?

Anyway, that blows my mind that people here are building homemade railguns in their garages. The most badass weapon I ever made was a small plastic bottle filled with 91% Isopropyl alcohol and Magnetix ball bearings for shrapnel, with a small hole poked in the cap for a crude fuse made of string. It probably wouldn't have even worked, but I didn't know the physics behind it back then.

All it would have done is burned very hot. No explosions from liquid alcohol. Trust me, I've tried.

Some brand of solid Toilet Cleaner + Tin Foil + Water Bottle = Epic.

And dangerous.

A genuine offence in this country, thanks to overly-specific anti-terrorism laws, is "conspiracy to cause explosions". So, TNT manufacture is probably illegal. Manufacturing explosive from fertiliser is definitely illegal.

Lol. I could probably talk some of my friends into lending me a few hundred pounds of Fertilizer to make a small bomb. Emphasis on small. Farmers round here need that stuff, and i dont have the money to buy enough to make a nice sized one on my end.

To make a decent sized Fertilizer bomb with what i would have with me (As in, non-Texas City conditions) probably wouldn't work out to all that much in actuality. That, and not everything in Fertilizer in bomb making material. Just the Ammonium Nitrate (From what i remember off hand of the ingredients list).

Afterall, that shooter in Norway used 6,000kg to make his bomb i believe. Im talking maybe 90kg.

You can get fertilizers which are almost purely ammonium nitrate. There isn't that much other stuff in fertilizer to be honest.

Ammonium sulfate is pretty swell too.

Sure they do. BMP-1 and 2 have the PKT supplied with 2,000 rounds as a coax. M2 Bradley has the M240.

It's sad, I always looked at ArmA as a beacon of realism in games, since it's more of a simulator than a traditional game. Forget the cheats. However, I'm sure that there will still be realism present there, even though I don't even play it.

ArmA is now mainstream.

Then again, ArmA II is mainstream too. You can hide to recover health and take 100000 bullets to die.

I can take 5-7 AKM rounds standing in ArmA II. Only in ACE does it have a somewhat realistic damage model, and only with the SLX-style features like combat casualty evac module or w/e on.

First Aid I think it is called.

AI should be able to do it too.

Also I had to dl several AI fixes, the most important one fixing the AI's mechanised infantry model to stop them dismounting, remounting, and running around like jackasses. Now they actually dismount, stay dismounted, and advance behind the IFV + shoot to kill instead of shoot to suppress.

BMPs + FALs = wat ownage.
