18 years of age is minimum age to join the armed forces here, with 45 being oldest maximum. Though those over 45 can apply for non-combat roles, if they have the neccessary skills/competency.

In combat roles you can volunteer from 16 to 46, you can be drafted (conscription is only used in dire emergencies) from 20 to 50.

18-45, though techically the military owns you at 6 years old, when that is the age all Nachfolgians enter a military academy. but 18 is when you join the actual Wehrmacht and fight for your country.

For non combat roles, there is no age limit with written permission from legal parent and 13 without written permission.
For combat roles, minimum age is 13 with written permission from legal parent and 18 without written permission.

18 is the minimum age of joining the armed forces and of serving a tour of duty. The maximum enlistment age is 34.

Morridanes can join the armed forces when they leave school at 16, though for males National Service kicks in at 18 and lasts for two years. The upper limit is 35 (in most cases its re-enlistment) and you can serve until you're 55 long as you can pass annual fitness tests and medicals, this applies to the Reserves to a lesser degree since you'll spend 6 years on the Reserve list meaning you can serve from age 16 up to age 61.

You can have some military training at the age of 15,but you can officially join the army at 18.If you have early military training then you will be given a promotion,and you won't have to train,when you oficially join the army.You can join and enlist in the army until you hit the age of 55.

It varies from orld to world. On some worlds, children are taught how to strip, reassemble and shoot a weapon before they are taught to read. Though officially any Imperial citizen of any age may be conscripted into the Imperial Guard at any time, if need be.

The average minimum age is 15-16 years old.

We recruit at birth, taking unwanted children into the care of the State and giving them a purpose in life: to defend our religiously pure nation. Volunteers can join once they have finished their compulsory period of education at 16. Should we ever go to war, there is no upper limit on age for drafting cannon f... ummm, front-line troops.

A person can join the Andromedan Navy once they graduate from Middle School. Such recruits are places in ANSAP, the Andromeda Navy's Secondary Education Program, as opposed to regular High School.

Our race ages slowly, so the minimum age to join as a cadet is 50. To become a soldier, one must be at least 70, but very few actually become soldiers at that age. To become a Royal Knight needs no time as a soldier, just proof that you are powerful enough to be one, but the youngest, Albel the Swift, was around 120 when he became one.

Cadets start at age 12, the cadet units are focused on training and are similar to a national youth club. Television shows for kids focus on it and how much fun it is (kind of like a mix of RL boy scouts and soviet young pioneers).

Membership in the cadets is optional but there is strong peer pressure to join.

And it ensures that by age 18 when they can join an active regular unit most people can field strip a rifle , be a proficient basically trained rifleman and know how to survive in several biomes and pilot or drive a vehicle of some kind.

A citizen can continue to serve in the armed forces for as long as they can pass the physical.
