The Febuary 2012 Disaster in Free Cross.

[Reporter] - Hurricane Caesar has been made off the coast of Free Cross. It has devestated many homes and buildings. Hurricane Caesar an F-5 hurricane has spawned 7 tornadoes in the heart of Free Cross.

It took years of re-buildings to make up for this disaster.

The Imperial Annexation, when our king was forced to swear fealty to the Sentinese Emperor, is widely considered to have been a disaster - at least for our nation's pride. We have since earned our freedom (albeit as a client kingdom (("ally")) of the Empire).

It is not known who launched the first nuclear weapon that precipitated the conflict. Although most evidence points towards the united states The nuclear exchange that characterized the Great War lasted for only a brief thirty minutes, but was unbelievably destructive and reshaped the climate of the world even as it caused the fall of most of human civilization everywhere across the globe. More energy was released in the first moments of the Great War than all of the previous human conflicts in the history of the world combined. Entire mountain ranges were created as the ground buckled and moved under the strain of the cataclysmic pressure produced by numerous, concentrated thermonuclear explosions. Rivers and oceans around the world were contaminated with the resulting radioactive fallout released by the relatively low-yield nuclear weapons used by all sides, and the climate changed horrifically. All the regions of the Earth suffered from a single, permanent season once the initial dust blasted into the atmosphere by the nuclear explosions had settled - a scorching, radioactive desert summer,alhough the world is gradually starting to cool down - or was untill a smaller exchange in 2305 that caused the Bajireyn evacuation.

Although that might count as a war instead of a disaster.

In natural disasters, the Flood of 933 was the most horrible natural disaster happening to Hibernicus. As a result, so many crops were killed off as well as people. The following winter, many people have starved and were very reliant on imports.

Our worst disaster was when the Americans bombed us in an attempt to stop us from succeeding from the UK, it was just after WWII at the time so the US and UK were bosom-buddies and the US were all over that part of the world at that time

The worst natural disaster in Cenetran history was the 1935 eruption of Mt. Jackson. The volcano produced a Plinian eruption with an eruptive volume of 6 km^3. The nearby towns of Red Valley and Amesside were completely destroyed by pyroclastic flows, and hundreds of square miles of land were buried by a Lahar. Ash fell like snow across most of northeastern Cenetra and our neighbors to the east, shutting down machinery for weeks, destroying crops and causing widespread respiratory illness. The overall death toll from the eruption is estimated at 22,800 Cenetrans, with perhaps another thousand dead in other countries.

The disaster is singlehandedly responsible for the creation of the National Geological Surveillance Bureau. There are currently fourteen surviving eyewitnesses of the eruption, all of whom were under the age of eighteen at the time.

[The Rhyce Legacy]

Late last year, a terrorist group known as "The Ex-Colonist's" have been terrorizing the Rhyce royal family. The first victim of the massacre was the first king, Vincent Rhyce, followed by many officials and citizens. This incident is forever known as the "Red October" Massacre.

The double-whammy of the Great Furry War and the Second Civil War from 1913 to 1924. The former was waged between Saurisia, the Dwarven Commonwealth, the Republic of Orcia, the Empire of Kalada, and the United Kingdom of Wyvernia on one side, and the Furry Confederation, the Drakian Kingdom, the Dominion of Carchara, the Federal Republic of Wellington, and the Zebron Empire on the other. The war was the result of decades of rising tensions between the various participant nations, with the assassination of Wyvernian Crown Prince Archon by an agent of Wellington providing the spark for the conflict.

The latter was waged between the Saurisian government, loyalist and patriotic militias, and various far-right wing paramilitary groups on one side and labor unions, groups of students, militant left-wing groups, anarchist communes, and Leninist and Marxist revolutionaries on the other. That war was sparked by a failed coup staged by various left-wing groups in the capital of Saurisia in 1916 which led to leftist groups across the country rising up to overthrow the Saurisian government. The government triumphed mainly due to the disorganization of the revolutionaries (who were a collection of anarchists, Leninists, Marxists, Socialists, radical students and workers, union members, and foreigners who just yearned for greater equality in Saurisia, largely ignorant of local customs, culture, and history) compared to the more unified organization of the Loyalist forces.

In 2002 Maoist revolutionaries in the in the lower class districts managed to sneak in gun and tried to liberate the entire district from government control. At that time the Public Self Defence Force was small and struggled to fend them off. The Chinese People's Liberation Army was called in to Petrochinese boarders to exterminate the rebels. There was much bloodshed and citizens in the upper class districts began to become fearful of the lower classes and moved away. The incident was also embarrassing of for the recently formed country because the battle it made it look weak to our allies, the People's Republic of China. Now security is much tighter and trans-human cyborg peace keepers watch over the lower class and ensure that anyone who speaks badly against the Armed Republic of PetroChina with pay greatly.

Radiatia's worst disaster was the Miitlania City nuclear meltdown in the 1970s.

Over 100,000 people were killed when a reactor went haywire and exploded, destroying the whole city and leaving an area that is still closed off to this day as it is believed to be uninhabitable.

Our worst disaster,was the former ''president'' Muhlak Pinauy.He ordered the military to storm every single small village killing and raping women,children and men.High ranking officers,tortured people.Pinauy personally took captured civilians,and he skinned them,he ate their organs out,and he bolted them to trees.The currennt president,Solomon Pandak,killed Pinauy.

Our worst disaster was when 1,000 people tried escaping and we had to execute the lot of them. Fifty nine escaped, the fact that they escaped was a national tragedy, showing that the government was not omnipotent resonated with the population of Lusaracale, Agonesis for three generations.

Terran Apeiron Dunamis was shocked to have the "heartlands"(a group of large farms) secede from it's ranks and take up arms against it's military, Due to the intense guerrilla warfare the General Lukas Alexander chose the warpath: Total Annihilation and effectively destroyed the entire Agriculture of the nation by killing off all the farmers innocent and guilty in one swoop over 1 hour and 12 minutes with the use of all branches of the military. On that dark day every last trooper was given the black mark of dark deeds for having at least some part in the massacre that resulted. However the populace has seen it as a sign of strength to have troops willing to do anything for their nation... Exactly what the Emperor didn't want...
The Empire is recovering by placing industrial factories there for economic purposes and now relies heavily on the trout fishermen of Northern Kurova.

Believe me, my one is probably the worst ever: the Strike Event.

At 27 C.A, an Orbital-Delivery Rail-Gun fired a faulty capsule that a piece broke off of in flight, imbalancing the mass and leading to it to travel faster than usual off-course and collide with several drop-off ships before they had released their cargo, smashing most of them to pieces and leaving their surviving cargo pods' momentum carrying them towards Klurge at a dangerously low orbit. To make things worse, while many of the pods' emergency fail-safes dumped the waste as they fell, causing them to only create an enormous debris field sufficient destroy all orbiting satellites and prevent any hope of leaving or entering the planet for decades to come before burning up, some did not open and instead fell to earth in whole pieces, levelling whole continents and causing huge tsunamis that devastated coastal regions.

[Novo Casttria]

The Balneum Ignition:
There used to be a city called Balneum in Novo Casttria; within the Titus Peaks. It was the principal city in Nuclear Weapons manufacture, and had built up a great stockpile of such weapons. However, a spark or some other such incident in a lab unfortunately set off one of the weapons, thereby detonating the entire stockpile and annihilating the city and all 3,000,000 of it's inhabitants. The shockwave travelled around the world 6 times and the whole of Novo Casttria was shrouded in a radioactive dust cloud for ten years. Whilst levels in most of Novo Casttria have returned to normal, levels around the Balneum crater can kill within seconds, and are not predicted to be safe again for at least 10,000 years

It came before the Great Construction, but when the countries of Pangaea fell apart, the entire continent fell into a Dark Ages.

Since the Great Construction, the Jurassic Revolution was the worst and caused the country to be run by a horrible dictator for a while. The Cretaceous Revolution saved the country.
