Computer screen (often has content on it best not spoken of in formal company), some form of alcohol, handgun, cellphone, and this image in a frame. Pressing a button on the frame replaces it with this image.

The Collective arbiters don't have desks, as such, there is nothing on them.

The minsters, those that deal with minor things in their respective districts, You'll probably find things like these:
-Handgun (usually in desk)
-Machine gun/assault rifle (usually on a rack on the wall, to be armed is a requirement for most civilians and officials)
-Cannabis cigarette/blunt/cigar/pipe
-Pens, pencils, writing implememts
-Some kind of snack
-Computer
-energy drink/coffee

King Charles VIII keeps a neat orderly desk, with a tin of Chocolate Kingfishers(raspberry flavored versions of Cadbury creme eggs), fountain pens, whatever classic book he is currently reading, treaties to sign, a revolver in one of the drawers in case his sword doesn't do the job of defending himself, and a telephone.

A laptop, small stack of papers, pens, miniature Saurisian flag, paperweight, and a couple books and pictures are all the common items on the desks of the members of the Dragon Court. Individual members have different things as well, like a portrait of his 10-year old son in the case of the Commander-in-Chief.

Having a desk would indicate having an office; which Caesar lacks. Politicians require desks and offices, Leaders do not.

On and near the Supreme General's Desk:
-A computer resembling the Commodore 64x (a modernized version of the original)
-The Supreme General's videogame collection
-A miniature ESU flag (Free Empire of Socialist Unamedistan)
-A platinum-plated Walther P38 pistol
-A platinum-plated Krinkov AK
-A sword that he forged himself at the age of 18(it is a part of many cultures within the empire that forging a sword is a way to enter manhood)
-Pens/Pencils
-A box of Cuban cigars (though since we're not on Earth they aren't actually from Cuba; instead they are Besdinian, which is an area in the empire similiar to the middle east)
-A liquor cabinet
-A hairbrush
-A gold picture frame with a hand-painted portrait of himself
-A gold picture frame with a hand-painted portraits of Laeder I, one of the few socialist visionaries who founded our nation's ideals
-A "red phone"
-A state-of-the-art TV with remote
-A collection of VHS movies
-A military radio
-A pet cat (no dictator is complete without one)
-Probably many other things I forgot to mention!

Apart from stationery and paper, HM President Mikhail Palchensky has an in tray and and out tray, as well as two computers - one on a secure network to staff who may want to contact him, and another on the news. He likes to keep a clean desk, so that's about it.

Hm, I do not think King Tyroth actually has a desk; there is a table near his throne, but that is used for food. I have only been in his personal chambers a few times, but I do not recall seeing anything of the sort. Considering that he is more the type to prefer speaking to his subjects than doing administrative tasks, he probably would not need one. Queen Sarisa seems more the type to have a desk, but I do not recall her having one either.

There never seems to be anything on the Chairman's Desk, and it seems to serve a more ceremonial role. He does most of his work on a folding table in his living room.

Usually lots of paperwork, but in the morning when it is set out Queen Sophia prefers to have:

*A small picture frame with her family's image
*A 18th century silver fountain pen, with a jade pot of ink. (Used to sign official documents, for most things she will use the pack of ball points in her drawer.)
*A small bowl of fruit
* Her computer.
