"Today it was announced that the Republic of Adjikstan[an old puppet] and the Republic of Lemansk[fictional] have decided to join our Union as full member states. Both republics are expected to use a common currency by the end of the year, and should be connected with Soviet communication lines within a week. Border checkpoints are to be closed, allowing easy travel between them, and the rail system is to be expanded. The Adjikstan armed forces will be incorporated into the 40th Army, who will now be stationed within the republic. Lemansk Defense Forces will now constitute the 63rd Army, and our Red Navy will soon be stationed and combined with existing Lemansk naval forces."
War in Northern Drakovia cools down
"This week the General of the Armed Forces announced that Soviet forces have surrounded the conflict zone, preventing it from spreading further. Despite having control over much of the capital, pockets of resistance remain and the separatist central government is currently under siege on the government island[it's surrounded by rivers on all sides]. Fighting in the countryside between Ministry of Internal Affairs troops and Drakovian nationals have since ceased dramatically since the relocation of the population to refugee camps."
New Umbrella Chemical Plant constructed in Naszran outskirts
