In WWI Nachfolgian Cavalry was quite wide spread. we had a total of 5 cavalry divisions deployed to the battlefields of Europe. as a result of the introduction of the machine gun and barbed wire, which proved disasterious early in the war, horse mounted troops became obsolete and all cavalry divisions were disbanded. Now were have mechanized divisions.

We used to have a Calvary division, but after The Orson Revolution, their was no need for one, and horses were replaced by tanks, ATV (All terrain vehicles), and gunships

The only remaining Herrebrughian cavalry unit is the "Eerste Volkscavalerie Divisie" or "First People's Cavalry Division", which serves a purely ceromonial purpose.

The Royal Kingdom of Quebec proudly have a mounted police. It's called the Royal Quebec Mounted Constabularies.

Founded in 1640 as a part of Chaplain treaty between the Empire and its First Nation tribes. For 414 years, it was used to protect the rights of our proud first nations and the other residents across all the rural provinces. After the Newfoundland and Acadia were annexed in 2012 and 1980, it also protects both these provinces.

Now, it serves in all the rural provinces of the nation.

Back in the early days of Fichina, the pioneers who founded our country had horses and basic muskets. We pretty much stuck with horses until the tank was invented. We still keep horses around, just for ceremonies.

Mounted units existed in the Armed Forces until approximately the 1930's where motorized vehicles took over much of the work. Some police forces and rural Rangers still use horses for patrols and/or crowd control seeing as they provide the officer with a good field of view up from atop the horse and the fact that people will usually get out of the way of an animal that's much larger than them. Horses are also used for military ceremonial purposes.

We have ceremonial mounted guard units, which have a kind of giant bird to ride. These units are armored units when they fight on the field and trade their steeds for hovertanks.
