Elections and a republican government under the Church. The nation is Christian and enforces laws based on Biblical principles, the Church almost have infinte power, elections are held and the President is the head of the state and the government with a government based on the United States.

Principles:

State before Nation, and Nation before Kin: The most vital aspect of Alesianism is the emphasis placed on patriotism towards a state power before a cultural and religious based loyalty towards ones tribe, nation or race. Furthermore alligence to the nation should however be greater then to the extended family units, or clans, that dominates quendi society. This principle, that is a direct challenge to the Imperial House of Alcedina which considers kin, then nation and then state to be the order in which loyality is owed, was vital to the creation of the so called "Unified Quendi State" where attempts where made to make a nationsstate for the quendi races.

Democracy must be tempered, not by imperial power, but by legalism: As the High Justitaria stands as the paramount legal scholar and authority in Aman it should come as no surprise that she stressed the value of legalism, or judicialism, in her ideological creation. Alesia, who saw direct democracy as the only way to bring her own family, which had corrupted the elected officials who needed funding for re-election campaigns, to fall, wished to temper the destructive tendencies that would inevitably rise from "the rule of the mob". She did so by transfering power from the decaying executive branch to the judicial branch effectively establishing a form of kritarchy.

Pan-Quendi Nationalism: While technically in conflict with her "state before nation" thesis Alesia, a realist by nature, accepted Pan-Quendi Nationalism as unavoidable should her ideology ever gain influence. Thus all but the most alesian of alesians seeks to incorporate pan-quendism into their conception of the state.

The People First: The end goal of alesianism is to create a society in which the alesian conception of "the People" (do note that this conception differs from the alesian conception of "the Nation") will prosper. To most alesian thinkers, including Alesia herself, this means that each individual is to be given the means to pursue his or hers own pursuits, but also to fail achieving them. This is however something that divides alesians. They however all share the, not given, position that the purpose of the state is to maximize the happiness of its people.
