The Vernal Equinox is the beginning of the fiscal year for many Freneq businesses, but otherwise there are no significant celebrations.
I’m mostly here for... something to do, I suppose.

Traditionally, our nation's people have celebrated the arrival of Spring with a five-day festival known as the Rejuvenation Festival (so-called because springtime's the time for rejuvenation) - we continue to do so, albeit with some modernizations.

Omnibus has visuris salutem in Domino!
To all who read this: salvation in the Lord!

When We were asked about the celebration of the arrival of spring, We thought it would be best that We answered that question Ourselves. For it is commonly known that this celebration is a pagan one. It seems like a celebration of the creation instead of the Creator. The remnant of that pagan feast is the celebration of carnival, which Our predecessors and We have successfully stamped out. It doesn't behoove a Christian to start the time of Lent with a week full of excesses.

There is no significant celebration, even among New Goldman's agricultural sector, that celebrates the arrival of Spring. Although a few small towns throws some parties and festivals to celebrate the Spring Harvest.

While there is not a spring celebration in the strictest sense, the Lunar New Year celebrated anywhere between 24 Jan to 15 Feb, or the 1st day of the 1st Lunar Month in the Chinese traditional calendar, is called "Spring festival" by some.

TurtleShroom does not officially recognize the Vernal Equinox as a holiday. However, Easter is celebrated by all TurtleShroomian Christians due to the Paschal Full Moon, so that counts in some ways.

The Yue pagans of TurtleShroom do have a large spring festival, though. It's rather ironic, as TurtleShroom is a tropical climate with little variation. The country hasn't seen snow since its founding in 1796 AD, and centuries before, according to native records.

The holiday of Razhukha falls two and a half weeks before the equinox, but it's seen as a holiday that turns the darkest days into slightly lighter ones. It's not so much welcoming spring but rather the longer days. Around the equinox the Ko-orenite calendar does offer a few long weekends, but those are technically exactly what you'd expect from the calendar.

Yes. Loungdako has a national weeklong to celebrate the arrival of spring called Chunje. It is celebrated from March 21-March 28. It usually involves a citywide festival with firecracker, floats, competitions, and a national holiday. A tradition on this holiday is to plant a tree or a flower, or a bush near one's place of residence.

Yes, and in fact we celebrate it in two separate ways.

In the traditional Daishani calendar, both the first month of the calendar and the spring equinox feature large celebrations, and in some years the celebrations fall on the same day or within a week of one another. The Daishani New Year falls on the first new moon after the spring equinox, while the spring equinox falls around March 21 in the Gregorian calendar (usually during the twelfth or, in leap years, thirteenth month of our traditional calendar). As our winters are extremely harsh, the coming of spring has long been cause for celebration among our population, and even once our country's residents became majority-Muslim the traditions of celebrating the equinox and the traditional New Year were maintained.

In addition, as our flag shows, the Ursa Major constellation is an important signifier of spring - as it shines at its zenith relative to the horizon during spring evenings, its zenith is seen as reflective of the coming of a new year and a high point for celebration. The constellation has long played a role in our native spiritual traditions.

There are many traditions here on the Arrival of Spring.

There's the Ostara Festival, there's the Equinox and many other traditions with that.

In the Czech lands and Galicia, there's the Morana tribute, in which effigies, used to be corpses, are thrown into the river to symbolize the end of winter and the beginning of new life in spring, as the sacrifices were offerings to the Gods for a bountiful harvest in the Spring.

A lot of common themes are the end of winter and its coldness, and the celebration of new life, food, and warmth that represents the spring.

Spring is a great time in the country, because may 23 is the national holiday for the liberation of the republic and also April 13 is the tomato festival.

Hello, I appreciate the question

For us Elyrion, the seasons are very important to us. It goes hand in hand with our religious beliefs, so we have a celebration for every season.

The spring celebration happens on the 8th of April, the summer on the 17th of June, the autumn on the 1st of October, and the celebration of the winter is on the 25th of December.

Well, there you have it. Once again, thank you for the question, it's good to discuss such topics lest we forget our traditions.

The Most Serene Republic of Saint Killebrew does celebrate Spring (no official holiday, but a recognition of a new season). That being said, it's not a celebration due to temperature shift as due to a rather temperate climate, weather tends to be quite moderate the entire year (no real hard freezes or scorching days), unless in the hills and "mountains, if one could call them that, where it can be cooler and potential freezes and snow is plausible in the very early days of spring still. Countrywide, It does get a little more rainy during Spring, there is that.
