Humans mostly just put us into shooters (Which is not far from reality, in fact, it's reality) as an Inkling simulator. But there are certain Japanese humans who make... weird games about us.

A vast unfamiliar land home to odd, futuristic civilizations that all use ether as its prime energy source. Each society seems have their own unique ways and the aircraft are all saucers. The people are also odd and you won’t find anyone else like them in the world.
Not to be mistaken for Suburbia.

Crazed Sith Lord elements of a Grand conspiracy (boss battle with lightning spam), arrogant self entitled Sith brats who give you the Obama “Perish” eyes at everything, or a depraved Sith Diplomatic or Business representative that give the player a quest to find dirt on some Atlantean, so they can have that Atlantean killed. Any non Sith Mediraasi Present are little more than yes-men servants. This is extremely offensive to us, as it portrays us as mere animals. The only game that seems to break this mold is a 2017 Kasnian made game “Flight of Heaven”, which has a Sith protagonist who is deposited in 1990s Romania and must find a lost charm of her ancestor that was taken by a Dracula Cult. It is actually a very accurate portrayal of how Sith act in various situations sprung up on them, as noted by the Dominion Guild of Psychology. It is the best selling game of 2017 in Mediraas.

There was that time that we were in a North Pointer video game as the protagonist of an invasion from a hostile neighbor that overran 90% of our nation in under a week with the help of a giant flying manta ray. Good times, that fantasy, good times.

The Republic mostly shows us as the lapdog for The Imperium, their worst enemy and our old mother-country. We're the classical bad guy and have a similar representation in their games as Nazis have in RL games, but with some of the things The Imperium has done to some native peoples and enemies of the state, the comparison isn't unfounded.

As the land of creepy and dark psychological horror games where the laws of logic and common sense doesn't apply. A very realistic depiction, by the way
  • Neoliberal (aka fiscal conservatism/orthodox economics, NOT the murican "liberal" as a lefty) on fiscal issues
  • Green on everything related to environment
  • Fashion in everything else!

P.s.: these are not necessarily my RL views. Or maybe they are?

National Strategy Games (HOI4, Victoria2, EU4, Age of Civilizations II (AOC2), etc.)
Usually, with the insane technology of the Scorpio Spikal Federation (being about 1000 years further in tech than we are, and we almost have FTL-tech or post-modern tech), they often make games portraying us as a pacifist nation that can easily take over other nations except the Scorpio Spikal Federation with ease.

Pacifica often portrays us as neopacifist weaklings, Vetria portrays us as communists (because of that one movie), Lesser Trinadaed portrays us as genocidal monsters, Liberdaed portrays us as helpers, and Liberdaed as the "nation in distress", USP portrays us as a good friend, and Torago portrays us as a powerful but pacifist nation, somewhat similar to the SSF's portraying.

Is there a Splatoon game in the human world (I'm guessing Earth, but this may be a different universe where Earth's name is different)?

Depends. With Zhouranese video games, Zhouran is obviously portrayed in a positive light as a global power involved in international incidents, or in terms of fantasy, an enchanted land of whisper where honorable warriors fight for their respective mulutengshen and their respective family. In many Zhouranese video games that involve the protagonist being in foreign land most/all the time, Zhouran is portrayed as the distant homeland that is peaceful and stable, in comparison to the "violent & dangerous" third-world the protagonist is usually always in.

As for American video games, Zhouran is either portrayed as a powerful enemy capable of launching a full-scale attack on American soil and taking on the US Armed Forces, or a powerful potential ally against terrorists and rogue states. Alternate history is quite a popular trope sometimes in American video games in which Zhouran is always portrayed as becoming an aggressive colonial power ever since the end of the 1990s following the collapse of the USSR and Zhouran having the world's largest defense budget by the start of the decade. In OTL, Zhouran continues to follow its foreign policy of non-aligned neutrality following the end of the Cold War, but in various foreign alt-history fictions including video games, the 1990s is sometimes used as a timeline-split in which Zhouran's political-hardliners take power instead and as a result use Zhouran's technological and military advantages for brutal (and sometimes racially-motivated) annexation and military occupation. These types of fiction basically create the whole imagery of the Aggressive Militaristic Asiatic Boogeyman with an alt-history more-racially-hardline Zhouran being the country of choice for such harsh and discriminating imagery. However, in Zhouran, some fringe groups of racially-motivated political-hardliners welcome such imagery and some even unironically welcome the idea of Zhouranese colonization of foreign lands. Meanwhile most Zhouranese people see it as a typical western-centric exploitation on the whole racist stereotype of Zhouranese people being "violent and inhumane barbarians" along with the whole "white savior" trope and the "morally-righteous western world vs the morally-depraved eastern world" dichotomy.

The Chinese first-person shooter propaganda game Glorious Mission features some Zhouranese firearms and Zhouranese soldiers, which is not much of a surprise since the game also features foreign soldiers and foreign weaponry from different countries such as the US and Japan as enemy factions. This has led to beliefs that the Zhouranese might be seen as being just as bad as the West in the eyes of Chinese nationalists, however a Chinese Ministry of Defense spokesman stated that the game's development is not directed against any particular country, and suggested that foreign media should refrain from excessive speculation and interpretation. Regardless, it's not uncommon for the Chinese to make subtle criticism on what they deem as "growing Zhouranese militaristic warmongering".

The Japanese make a lot of games about us, Inklings:

Firstly, the Japanese tend to just portray how life is in Inkopolis, minus the Turf Wars factor. It's essentially a life simulator of Inklings which includes romance, view of an Inkling's home and lifestyle, etc.

Secondly, and this is the most popular type of games, are games who are based on Turf Wars as an Inkling sport. The most popular videogame and essentially the one who dominates the market is called "Splatoon", which is a weird name for a game about us. Either way, this game is a near clone of the Turf War as a sport. All of the companies that appear in this game have their hands in Splatoon, which means they also have a bit of cash flowing to them from Splatoon. Splatoon is such a big game there are tourneys and entire human servers called "Subreddits" that are based around it!

Thirdly, it's the games about Inkling History and War. They mostly come from Inkling videogame makers and have been praised throughout both Inkling and Human worlds for their graphics, story and detail. These games can range from the Inkling Civil War, a futuristic videogame where Inklings are the dominant force, or a dystopian future (or past!) where Inklings as a race are brought back because of nuclear war (Which would also affect Humans). I believe it's called Woomy 76 or something.

Fourthly, it's the games about... certain biological processes. Only the lonest of Japanese guys make these.

Ritterdorf is often being portrayed as a war-loving knight order in some post-apocalypse medieval fantasy action RPG, usually as some late game powerful enemies. For example, in NationSouls, the Ritterdorfian Knights you fight against there are formidable foes armed with Lucerne Hammers and Gothic Armor. Their hammers can easily pierce through plate armor.

If you do wish to fight against a Ritterdorfian Knight, refine your swordsmanship first.

Devernia is typically portrayed similarly as to how Tokyo is portrayed in video games in real life; highly-advanced society, more-than-desired amounts of rain, etc. The 2011 “F Society: Maddest Cause” is partly set in Devernia, and features a fictional Devernite company that seems to parody CyberMirage.

Well, we aren't a nation, but there are a few video games which has the Overworld as its setting and/or the Tetradimensional Vanguards and Knights as the playable character, most notably, the Japanese game of "Fourth Advance" and the Russian game of "Tetradimensional Explorer", both are rated great games by both fans and game critics alike. In those games, we're portrayed as an army led by an 11 year old, which is accurate, but those games say that he is the one planning everything, which is not true. An advanced AI does it for him. The next most accurate thing is the fact that the Overworld is a ring-like or torus-shaped big space station rotating around a white dwarf, but we have a day night cycle due to debris blocking out one side of the white dwarf and the fact that there is a huge concentration of white dwarf spots on one side but not the other. Some games may think that the Army does everything, but it's just the high rate of soldiers compared to soldiers which are needed so most reserve soldiers do other jobs.
