Announcement of the Dominion of the Lubyak Embassy and Trade ProgramIn order to deepen relations with states around the world, the Dominion of the Lubyak has chosen to pursue an open an official embassy program in order to replace the ad-hoc system of consulates and unofficial embassies that have been prevalent in prior years.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also be using this program in order to centralize and coordinate trade and other treaties within the Dominion of the Lubyak. Requests for formalized trade, military or other treaties may also be presented.
We hope that this program allows the Dominion of the Lubyak to clarify its position in relation to other states around the world. We look forward to much dialogue, and hope that the opening of the official embassy program will enable the Dominion to become a contributing member of international society.Signed and approved,
Basic Information on the Dominion of the Lubyak
The Dominion of the Lubyak extends across the southern section of the continent of Tolkoya, extending from the Bay of Toman in the West to the Arglythe Sea, and the Tovakyan Ocean in the south, as well as extended deep inland to cover a total of 7,101,248 square kilometers. In addition to its mainland, the Dominion of the Lubyak maintains several extra-territorial colonies, both in North Pony Lands, and in other regions around the globe.
The Dominion was founded in 1819, following the collapse of the Lubyakan Republic that had preceeded it. Following its founding, the Dominion proceeded to embrace a policy of international isolation, focusing on securing and expanding its land borders against the threats of other nations on Tolkoya. These actions culminated in the Second Continental War, which rendered the Dominion of the Lubyak the only surviving industrial power on Tolkoya. While the other nations struggled to rebuild, the Dominion of the Lubyak began to look beyond its shores, and sought to gain recognition on the international stage.
In modern times, the Dominion has become a major power within Pony Lands, serving as one of the chief exporters of heavy industrial goods, as well as becoming a large player in the Coalition of Ponyist States, enabling the Dominion to express itself on the inter-regional stage.

I. The Ambassador
However, the Dominion reserves the right to expel any ambassador from Dominion territory for any reason. In the event of an ambassador being expelled, the Dominion will make all efforts to see the ambassador safely returned to their home nation as quickly, and as expediently as possible.
The Dominion also reserves the right to subpoena the ambassador in criminal investigations that may involve the diplomatic mission, but will always attempt to inform the ambassador at least three weeks before their appearance date.
These policies will also apply to any individual who operates with the authority of the ambassador, even though that individual may not hold the title.
II. The Embassy and Other Diplomatic Staff
The mission’s home nation is responsible for the security, upkeep and all other functions related to the mission’s diplomatic compound.
All other diplomatic staff do not enjoy the diplomatic immunity enjoyed by the ambassador, and can and will be prosecuted for crimes they stand accused of.
All firearms that are brought into the embassy compound must be approved by the Dominion for civilian ownership. Only rifles, handguns, and melee weapons are allowed to be held by the mission’s security forces. Diplomatic vehicles are similarly limited to non-militarized, non-tracked vehicles.
