Leograd Troopers: Red berets with golden lion's head, banclava, bullet-proof vests, Kevlar Spectre-camoflague ECUs (Emperican Combat Uniforms), armed with FAL11 Vertexes or Empire Loki-MP63 SMGs. Almost always seen with the General Secretary.

KGB Agents: Normal civilian clothes; often a trench coat or casual jacket with a Loki-MP93 SMG concealed inside. Blends in with the crowd, quickly and efficiently executing any would be assailants of the General Secretary.

The Leibstandarte, a branch of the SS specifically to guard the Chancellor. They are dressed in the distinctive black uniforms of the SS and carry Kar-98ks, primarily on parade, but are also known to wield G36C assault rifles, MP7 personal defense weapons, and P99 pistols:

Prime Minister Lev Trotsky, while visiting war-torn countries or giving a simple speech, is guarded by two Spetsnaz soldiers. The Emperor's Royal Guard
The Emperor's Royal Guard, sometimes referred to as the Imperial Royal Guard or Imperial Guard, was an elite unit of the Galactic Empire's armed forces tasked with the protection of the Emperor, Palpatine. Palpatine was almost never seen without a detachment of Royal Guards at his side, so much that they usually accompanied him to his bed chambers and his office within the Death Star. The exact number of Royal Guardsmen serving the Emperor was unknown, with speculations ranging from less than fifty to tens of thousands, although their numbers were estimated to be at least four hundred at any one point. Like the stormtroopers of the Stormtrooper Corps, the Royal Guards formed a military unit independent of the Imperial Military and answered directly to the Emperor.
The Royal Guard was based out of the Imperial Royal Guard Academy on Yinchorr, a barren planet rendered lifeless by genocidal airstrikes by the Empire. Candidates for tutelage under the Academy, picked from various units in the Imperial Military, underwent rigorous training programs designed to build a sense of extreme loyalty to the Emperor, with students often being forced to kill each other in live combat. Guardsmen were trained in various forms of martial arts, including Echani. Guardsmen were commonly equipped with vibroswords and force pikes, in addition to heavy blaster pistols for ranged combat.

because no individual low person holds any more personal power then any other ordinary cameroi, for an assassination to be effective, it would have to take out five of the nine, to prevent the remainder being able to form a quorum. and the only time five of then are likely to be in the same place at the same time is when they are in session. council chambers are garded by ordinary security. cameroi ordinary security, who can read minds and teleport. or course ruses could be devised to circumvent even that, however, aside from cameroi, like much of lananaran, culture not being inclined in the direction, there is the presence of lion-bear minds, which are another matter entirely. possibly the most psionically powrful minds on any planet.

individual council members also tend to enjoy a certain degree of anonymity, and are thus able to live as the ordinary citizens that they are. they are of course monitored by ordinary security, as well as each other, and are more likely to intervene on each other's behaf, then to attact one anonther.

Their most important duty is to serve as bodyguards for the president and his ministers, but they also serve in the front lines when needed, the civil war means all available soldiers must be put to use.

Remarkable for being majority female, when the Communist party pushed out the Gender Equality doctrine as a desperate measure to fill their waning lines this unit was one of the first to receive female recruits.
