They had been devastated by the Great Time War. Tens of billions had been wiped out, the had had to abandon the empire, their highest technology had been destroyed. All as a mere side effect or a war being waged by far more powerful species. The very experiments that Arcateenian scientists had conducted into manipulating the Space-Time Vortex had made them vulnerable to the destruction that the War had rained down on the higher races of the universe. The few million survivors had fled into isolation on the three Core worlds of their home system around the star Arca. Nearly a decade had passed as they attempted to reestablish their civilisation and their once renowned for culture. They still had much of their old technology, but many of the most advanced devices had been destroyed or the knowledge of their use had been lost with the billions who had been reduced to nothingness. But now they were ready. They set up new colonies on the now abandoned inner worlds of the Arca system. They sent out expeditions to other systems- new colonies would inspire them on to ever greater hights! The Askeaton system was found- and passed through through, the one world their only holding enough resources to support a small, isolated community. And then there was the success of the Seitheem system.Two worlds able to support Arcateenian life, one of them perfect for it after a mild terraforming process. They were confident now. Confident enough to come out of isolation and declare themselves to the galaxy at large.
