Fotonia is officially a pacifist nation.

But that doesn't mean we don't have a secret military operations center. In this case, military control is wielded by a dozen joint chiefs, operating through laptop computers networked via satellite, from wherever they happen to be. There are no uniforms, no obvious weapons. Soldiers look like farmers, executives, or other civilians; explosives are regularly concealed in portable fuel cans, beverage six-packs, even disguised as loaves of bread; knives and firearms look suspiciously like everyday items, such as umbrellas, walking-sticks, camera tripods, etc. One in every four citizens is compulsory military; passing people on the street, even we can't tell who is and who isn't.

Luckily, for neighbours in the region, our policy exists strictly for self-defence.

Somewhere deep underneath the ocean under a mile of bedrock. Where we keep our Hammerhead mobile submarine carrier base (oops that doesn't exist, sorry), and our Gosshawk submersible stealth aircraft carrier (what am I saying that is impossible), and our Armadillo submersible amphibious tank carrier (equally ridiculous).

My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.

International Laws don't stop Lockheed-Martin's defence spooks. oOoOoOoOo

The most heavily defended base would be the Soviet Marine Corps' Dylar VI Fortress System. You've seen those 40K-style Fortress Style planets haven't you? You know what a Dyson Sphere is don't you? You should, or else you should really go back elementary school. You know what FTLi, void shields, rail cannons and a teraton are, well of course you do, no self-respecting military or sociopolitical leader of this galaxy wouldn't. But do you know what you get when you smash all these things together? No you don't.

Image

You get the SMC's "Wall of Pain", as they've aptly named it. Massive amounts of modularity and redundancy on a solar scale project a massive sphere roughly 1.1 Astral Units in diameter. The surface is well within the habitable zone of the star and populated by numerous military bases, agricultural, research, construction and training areas. The exact details of these areas and the weapons and defences used by the Sphere are, for obvious reasons, classified, although daring and oftentimes insane reporters have managed to dig up several pictures of the inside of the Sphere.

It is known that Sphere possesses large amounts of redundancy and protection against attack, including several hundred void shield generators, numerous fusion reactors, thousands of nuclear weapons and rail cannons and a small fleet of Soviet ships are stationed inside at all times.

The most secure base we can discuss is Fort Leatson, which is almost completely dedicated to manage the vast amount of intelligence that comes into Bavin from the GWO and Greater Americana, and their allies. And RightWingChristians.

I'm sorry, but to give away the secret location of any of our military bases would force us to destroy the base and relocate the contents. What I can say, is that our most secured military base is contained within walls of 5 mile thick concrete :o
and 1 mile of lead :o
Also, as a further precaution, it is deep enough in the ground to protect it from bombs :o
and the area within 10 miles of the site is littered with proximity mines. :o
In other words, KEEP OUT!
