What kind of leader runs your nation and why?A prime minister leads Cavalstan because it requires a small government and we don't have any unnecessary positions in the parliment.

Our nation is lead by the Cardinal Archbishop, who is the national Primate (all other bishops and clergy are ultimately answerable to him, and through him, the papacy). This is largely because, while the parishes use a participatory democratic mode to make decisions, inter-parish issues require larger decisions than can reasonably be participated in, and so the clergy themselves have used their already national organization in order to co-ordinate parishes.

A Single-Party Republic. Basically, like a normal Republic except ruled by one single party, the Dinosaurs First Party. There is a legislative branch where members are elected however national leaders are simply appointed by their predecessors upon stepping down or dying. Despite being ruled by one party, other political parties are allowed even though they cannot participate in elections.

That should explain why he is a dictator enough.

SM2 is a direct democracy roughly 30 percent of the time. Less relevant national issues are handled by a group of 71 nationally elected councilers. Issues dealing with a specific place are handled by a direct democracy IN THAT AREA.No leader.

The Realms are governed by Scarlet Nosferatu through a Totalitarian Council-led system of government. Composed of the Supreme Joint Council, which develops and proposes decisions that affect the Commonwealth as a whole. And the Supernational Assembly, whom receives these decisions, and votes on whether they pass or not.

Though we are Totalitarian, we are not Authoritarian in any way. However, Scarlet can propose any law she desires without it being called illegal. In fact, she has the power to turn the entire Commonwealth into a police state with the right votes. Luckily for the populace, after her long term of ruling she has grown soft towards her people.

Funny you should ask. The functional side of Helladria's government is a semi-presidential federal republic. The Legislative and Executive branches are coequal, and each is led by its own Head of Government. The Prime Minister is elected from within the Parliament, while the President is elected by direct national election. While each leads a coequal branch, the offices are not of equal stature or power. The President does have more direct authority than the PM, though the PM can wield greater power than the President if they are politically astute enough and if solidarity exists within the Parliament.

Key offices that demonstrate leadership through moderation also exist throughout the government. The Chief Justice leads the Federal High Court, which is an independent branch of government, coequal to the Legislative and Executive branches. Furthermore, the Senate, which was reestablished in 1943 after it was abolished in favor of the Parliament, operates by restraining the power of the lower house of the legislature, and is led by the Steward of the Senate, which is a throwback to the old Imperial Regency.

Finally, the Head of State is the Emperor, who acts as a constitutional monarch, and though the position in chiefly ceremonial, the Emperor can exercise unbounded reserve powers. Related to the Emperor, there is a minority of conspiracy theorists who insist that one branch of the armed forces control the Emperor and through ohm, the whole nation.

Thus, the Federated Empire of Helladria is officially led by a President, a Prime Minister, and an Emperor, though some would say it is truly controlled by a junta of the Imperial Guard.

In Alekoslav a president runs the country, but the prime minister is the 2nd in charge and he also runs the Government of Alekoslav

Technically theocracy, however given the fantastic nature of the universe in which Keceas is described, it is more accurately described as a magocratic theocracy. It's ruled by sorcerer priests.

The President is head of state and the Chancellor is the head of government.
