Somewhere around 0.8%/99.2%.

However, nearly everyone has had some experience in the military and/or ISF.

But nobody has to believe what you say. The more bodies you have in uniform, the thinner your resources must be spread among them. It doen't matter how hypothetical they are. It's just mathematics.

Civilian I'm assuming.

Anyway, Ostronopolis generally keeps a peacetime military of one percent, give or take a few thousand troops. In war time however, military numbers can often reach as high as three percent, but it has never exceeded four percent, simply because of the harsh reality when speaking economically.

In Niicha, no government military or police force is present. Gun ownership in Niicha is compulsary, due to our nations "turbulent" past. Militias are present, these range from untrained, glorified hunting clubs to highly trained private mercenary groups. At this time, it is impossible to determine the number of citizens in said militias, however, the quality of weapons available to private citizens range from BB guns to military grade heavy weapons.

Officially? Maybe .035%? But pretty much anyone in the Netherworld would be able to fend for themselves, so technically 100% including paramilitary militia. Of course, these militia would never be used in an actual war, they're just there to kill anyone who tries to invade our world or kill our beautiful, tyrannical, perfect and glorious Overlord Etna!

The traditional Vishad portion of the army represents 8% of the population, with only a few non-Vishad member in the army, which results in an 8.1%/91.9% population breakdown.

Romandeos currently maintain less than 1% in full-time, professional military service, though this is backed up by extensive Reserves and the Militia system, the last of which is much enhanced by a National Service* system, which ensures a fairly high level of discipline and proficiency among the populace, and means we could raise new divisions much more rapidly than otherwise. In a situation where commensurate training for these newly raised formations was not practical, i.e. an invasion, we would doubtless find ourselves looking at a force of something like 1,000 divisions of men and women in prime fighting age, many of them lacking in basic efficiency, and several paramilitary Militia units.

If, however, we were required to raise new divisions for overseas operations, and we had sufficient time for training operations to make them current on matters of discipline, then it is likely these units would operate almost as well in that regard as front-line units. As to fighting spirit? There is rarely any doubt a Romandeosian will fight for the Motherland.

Fortunately we have not yet had to find out how smoothly the system runs, but countless drills have suggested that it would work fairly effectively.

* National Service does not mean only military service, though such is included. It is a system by which young, able-bodied men and women are required to serve as firemen, police constables, hospital/ambulance paramedics, community services workers and yes, sometimes as soldiers. This is meant to instill in them ideals of discipline and service to the Motherland while making it possible in an emergency for the nation to draw on a reasonably well formed core of willing, able bodies and minds.

San Serin is a expansionist, fascist state. We have mandatory draft and thus a 100% military population in theory. In practice it is closer to 90% due to those too young too old, and too traitorous to fight.

1.09% of the population of Jeuna is employed by the military. Theoretically, it could be 35.61% of the population fit for military service (that is, 15–49), were there to be a universal draft that included females, but at least a significant minority would be excused for educational, familial, financial, or other reasons. Or they might just not show up.

The Holy Empire has a Law that makes every one serve in the army for atleast 5 years before you can become a citicen and it is only when you have citicenship you can take a normal job or go see a movie or actluly do any thing.... so 57% are in the army the rest are citicen.
But if a war would break out all citicens must re join if the enemy has made its way to our Empire capital.
But that is Only something they can dream of since no one makes it way through our Empire wall. NO ONE That is how well was made.

In peacetime, the active military numbers 13.5 million, a percentage figure of 2.19%, with a further million involved in a paramilitary organisation of some kind. In times of war, the 14 million in reserve can be called up to fight, raising the figure to 4.63%.
