Standard uniform can be anything from arctic camo, to urban, to jet black, to blue camo. Heavy troops have a nearly full-body set of armor that is powered by hydraulics and an on-board battery pack that can stay well within operational perameters for about 14 hours, but then requires recharging.

Every citizen in Kharsus is taken at birth and put through military training and serve several years in the armed forces before they are allowed to return to society if they wish at age 25. Typically they usually see several battles by age 18. A standard Kharsus citizen is about equal to a full-time soldier in terms of skill in battle.

And if the military fails, there is always the crimson police, my massive police force that is better trained than my military to fall back on.

Given our current state of being At-War, our national military stands at around 3.8% of our population. This translates to roughly 5,738,000 Men and Women.

During peacetime, our military stands at around 1% of our population, or 1,510,000 Men and Women.

Usually, 5% of the citizens are serving at any given time, however, in addition, if deemed neccesary, up to an additional 15% are permitted to be acquired through conscription, albeit a 15% that rarely have more than a few months or so of combat training.

Everyone within the ages of 15-18 is drafted at least once, trained, and sent to war, police, or mercenary works.

People who stay on can elect to join the Commissariat (Storm Korps) or Regular Army, and become lifers.

We have .85 active and .45 reserve. All citizens are trained in military shooting and discipline. So in time of occupation any citizen can be trained as a Guerrillas and/or Militia.

There may be treaties, but, that doesn't mean that they have to be followed, at all.

My military is all volunteer. 5% of my population is in the military. I did the math, and with my current military budget, I have about $100,000 to spend per troop for training and equipment.

P.S. I'm in a large war right now, in fact, my capitol city got hit with an EMP, so........... 5% seems reasonable, not to mention my country's populace are fiercely patriotic.

Is that accounting for tanks, aircraft carriers, and the like? Those things need to be accounted for in there.

During the War for Liberation, a huge percentage of the Free Robotical Unity were actively fighting and killing humans. Official figures put it at 100%, and historians of today are inclined to agree.

During the period of the Great Drive Forward and the military purges, this figure dropped dramatically to around 4%.

Nowadays, 40 years into this uneasy 'peace' between the Human and Robot blocs, Robotronicum still maintains an active military percentage of something like 5 percent, with a trained reserve of 5 times that.

The Robotronical Empire has always been extremely militarised.
