As the Advisory of External Affairs, it is our duty to inform nations wishing to establish formal relations with us of the potential dangers that exist in our society. Let it be known that we have a religious population in the millions and growing, and they coexist peacefully with the population. Yes, most are atheists; yes, most are liberal, but they hold no hostilities towards people of faith or those that hold conservative ideals (the Conservative Coalitioin of Maraque is one of the largest in the nation with hundreds of millions of members...). The average Maraquean simply doesn't, excuse my language, give a shit whether one believes in a deity or not. Or whether they hold conservative ideals; we just have to inform diplomats that there exists within the general population those with extremist attitudes, but they are most certainly not the norm.

Message from the Seculartopian Embassy in Maraque

We at this embassy have noticed that in recent years, Maraque has faced problems with space and of resources, particularly water.

Seculartopia has abundant ice caps and frozen areas and glaciers, being an Artic Nation, and the melt water from these glaciers forms seasonal springs that provide some of the cleanest water sources imaginable. Seculartopia has been utilizing this for their water sources- and has abundant, and according to extensive reports in environmental impact, has enough to support a bottling venture supply.

Noticing your developments, A proposal that has been reviewed and approved by Hal Newton would offer the City-State imports of this bottled water as needed to the Maraquean market or to Maraque as Maraque desires to use it, that is purified but that is hardly needed to be anyway- we can of course modify this to meet Maraquean standards if they differ.

Additionally, we have land reclamation projects that we have done around our Port-Capital city, Seculartopia City, that are now in reserve that we would be fully willing to help Maraque in its pursuits if needed, of course monitoring carefully the environmental impacts and the areas according to it, and paying close attention to the needs of local communities.
