As for your inquiry; no "anti-religious" slant exists. We have 28 million people of faith who live in complete harmony with the atheist majority. What we mean to stress is that because of our unique history and it's lack of a constructed religion, our people have turned to science for answers to the beginning of the universe rather than a faith-based belief system, and because of this religious thought is not well received. That isn't to say religious people are treated differently, it just means Maraqueans will dismiss their ideas and beliefs as rubbish, just as the faithful will dismiss their ideas and beliefs as rubbish.
