What are your nation's sport rivalries?

In Tryienne, there are a couple.

Roma Sentinels vs Pogo Streeters; Basketball.

This old rivalry goes back to the early days of Basketball in Tryienne, when the league was just formed. The Roma Sentinels is the team for the richer persons of Roma Major, and the Pogo Streeters is the team for the working class of Roma Major.

Mithras Packers vs Tryienne East Falcons; American Football.

This rivalry also goes back from when the leagues just formed.

FC Bolnors vs El Tierria: Soccer.

This heated rivalry between the 2 teams stretched decades back, and was the one suspected to cause the Andbyr Square riots in 2006. With the FC Bolnors winning the championship finals, angry Tierria fans started attacking Bolnor fans. This fight continued outside the stadium (which was in the area of Andbyr Square), and soon turned into a riot, which would only be stopped by sufficient Riot Police intervention.

Cadets of the Royal Military Academy and the Royal Naval Academy often give steam to the interservice rivalry present between the two military branches through basketball.

Saurus City Thunderlizards vs Hell Creek Devils - Baseball

Arguably the most famous rivalry in the Saurisian sports world, the Thunderlizards and the Devils have been rivals ever since the 1920s. They have engaged in countless games against each other, some ending with the Thunderlizards victorious, others with the Devils prevailing, while others ending in a tie. One thing is sure: this rivalry will continue to exist for years to come.

Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu and Thrinian Catholic Archdiocese of Bogo: Tae Kwon Do

Seminarians from the two Archdioceses give vent to the inter-ecclesiastical rivalry of the Roman and Thrinian Sees through Tae Kwon Do competitions. The Romans bested the Thrinians 8-7 in the recently-concluded Games, with a tiebreaker dealt by Bro. Valerian Sending of the San Carlos Seminary College against Bro. Socrates Villafuerte of the Guardian Angels Seminary College.

FC Hochfels vs. Northanger Football Club: Soccer

The traditionally german FC is seen as the mid-class, philistine, bourgeouis club while the english Northanger is for the educated, rich people. Hochfels won the national championship two times, Nothanger didn't manage that yet; their current rank is #4 (Hochfels) and #7 (Northanger).

[Kel-Morian Alliance]

There is a never ending sport rivalry in the national soccer competitions of the Kel-Morian Alliance.
The never ending sport rivalry is held between the "Kelanis Warriors" and the "Morian Guardians".
The "Kelanis Warriors" often won against the "Morian Guardians" in a pretty tight match and score.

[The Harrowlands]

N.B. Cricket is our national game/obsession so most of our rivalries are cricketing ones, here are the main rivalries:

Wessick v Sark: Cricket
The two most elite cricket clubs in Harrow, the rivalry goes back to the early 19th Century, and represents the highland/lowland (or, vaguely north/south) divide in Harrovian culture. All the best cricketers from the highlands will join Wessick team and all the best cricketers from the lowlands will join Sark.

Totleygh College v Graybridge School: Cricket
The two most elite private schools in Harrow are famous for their annual cricket match against each other which is watched avidly by the nation, dividing people on which school they support (unlike Wessick v Sark the division between supporters is not so clear-cut)

Blencote v Assynt: Rugby league
Pretty much the same as the Wessick v Sark rivalry in cricket, a highland/lowland divide, except the rugby rivalry is more recent

[Salvarity]

Alcariazi International and True Salvar City - Soccer Rivalry.
The only two international Soccer Teams in Salvarity. A Rivalry was soon formed right after Alcariazi International being formed with both teams trying for the best. True Salvar City is currently in the lead.

Irlicana Jazz vs Los Angelos Lakers:Basketball
Dates back to pre-sauritican time in 1990's especially 2000's were great with the former Utah Jazz always being defeated by the Lakers
