This is a photo of the First Female Batallion, this unit may have changed people, but the unit is still one of Unicario's most respected. The First Female Battallion came into formation on June 23, 1942 during the Japanese Invasion of San Francisco Harbor. Approximately 20 women with ragtag arms stolen from their husband's storage, in their homemaker dresses, stormed the streets to help the Battle of San Francisco, and later, Battle of Oakland, the worst battle of World War II, approximately 550 women died in the Battle of Oakland, and 18,376 died in the endless siege whhich turned Oakland dark for several days with so much artillery fire, and this event cemented the female soldier as a future thing of Unicario's armed history, and cemented the end of the "women are inferior" age.

Women are of high-respect in the military, but are not able to be equipped with the same things men get due to technological constraints, but women are equipped in what you see, modest military uniforms, when in combat, it's a bit thicker, but enough to protect them from gunfire and enemy arms. They are provided with the standard Unicarion Type 67 Gun, a high-caliber Assault Rifle, which is standard for people like this.

This is the standard equipment of a male soldier. They are equipped with Unicarion Department of Defense constructed Terra-62B Power Armor, a very powerful class weapon in Unicario. The armor does have some flaws, though. But that's classified, the men are equipped with Chainguns or Laser Rifles.

The average Luthorian infantryman stands 5'11", carries a bullpup selective fire rifle chambered in 6.5x50mm Luthorian, and wears a modular bullet proof vest that covers the front, back, and sides of the torso, as well as the crotch, upper legs, and upper arms, that weighs between 23 lbs and 16 lbs, the heavier inserts being able to protect against armour piercing rifle fire, while the lighter ones only protect against non-AP rifle rounds. His training has lasted for approximately 40 weeks, including basic training (how to march in formation, weapon care, basic marksmanship, basic melee training, etc.), specialist training (how to use and act with their primary weapon), and unit acclimation training (training alongside their new squad and platoon).

On a partially related note most of my ground vehicle crews (with the exception of logistics vehicles) are women due to the pretty high average height in the country (6' for men, 5' 7" for women, 5' 9.5" for the entire population) and the compact nature of combat vehicles making it difficult to find men short enough (maximum effective height (you can join regardless of your height, but if you can't fit in your vehicle you won't pass) varies from 5'9" to 5'5" depending on vehicle) to crew the tanks, IFVs, and other vehicles.

Non-enlisted get 3 years training, period. Those that look for a higher rank get harder training, the higher the rank they're aiming for, the harder and more intense the training.

Enlistees get a maximum of one and a half years, average of six months, but they also have a tougher training schedule. While there ARE elite squadrons, most do not have a separate training schedule, they let you in depending on how good you do in combat, not training.

Also, why am I arguing this point, anyway? I'm MT/FanT, and with all likelihood our nations will never RP together.

Reverse chauvinism, interesting.

Of course, Karlsland allows men to serve in OUR military. They just don't get the really cool jobs too often. And they can't actually join the Witch Corps, they have to be engineers.

Even in MT, women pretty much dominate the Karlsland military. 3 in 5 soldiers are female.

In Cruciland, men and women serve equally. We have equal encouragement of either gender, but the males will find it easier to be successful, giving that they can have testosterone triggered into their systems during combat, making them brutal and notorious in the more dragged-out fights. We have recently also made an aggression hormone for females, as well.
