My FT military is formed from volunteers from the member nations of the Confederacy of Allied Systems. From the feared Krogan shock troops to the Spec Ops, the C.A.S military is highly divorced and ready for any threat.

The Confederation of the Coa Maru Cluster (the FT analogue of Inutoland) has three Cluster-wide military armed forces, plus local System Defence Forces.

COAMARUAN ASTRONAVY: The AstroNavy is considered the premier service, and crews the K-Drive starships that plumb the depths of space between the various systems of the Cluster and beyond.
COAMARUAN NAVAL MARINES: The Naval Marines are shipboard troops whose deployment is akin to the classical wet-navy marines. They are trained to fight on board starships and are used in boarding actions and shipborne planetary assault. They wear fairly light armour, though their battle armour is customiseable to various mission modes, optimising at different points in the firepower-mobility-endurance-armour quadrangle.
COAMARUAN COLONIAL FORCES: The Colonial Forces are the closest thing to a regular army that the Confederation possesses. Absorbing local System Defence ground forces during times of war, the Colonial Forces' peacetime job is to serve as a highly-trained reserve and interstellar armed response force which can deploy behind the Naval Marines to hold ground and pacify restless natives.

Last I checked, fire departments are regarded as paramilitary organizations, as are police forces.

*realizes the definition of "fire-control technician" is not that of "firefighter", even though there is a "Technician" rank in some American fire departments, which is equivalent to a Sergeant, and that said Technicians do control fires, therefore being Fire-Control Technicians in the most literal sense of the term*

Old RIG Systems that were denied in the UNSC Military but were made popular for commercial colonial use are what we use. The UNSC stayed with the somewhat not as advanced yet more so advanced armor that lacked the thrusters but had shields.

These were left by the thousands, some find credits and buy them while others just hack, only Isaac has known to do the hack in a short amount of time successfully. These left overs are what keeps us safe from thugs, the insurrectionist who are fighting for control and the necromorphs.

Marines or Space Marines are the main infantry force that makes up most jobs of the Graditoran Space Fleet and Land Army. The Armor is colored black and each suit changes colors depending on the certain job that particular soldier is doing, the armor that they wear is called the CMC-300 GR.Mod. Small sized mechs are also incorporated into the military along side the Marines for fire support and other open field and space operations, they use a more heavier armor to fend off from more larger weapons that they would be prone to be hit by. There armor is called the Gr. Heavy Suit MK.2, the one shown here is a space suit most times the color would either be red or black, red designates that this suit is meant for more of a boarding kind of mech and black being land and orange being general purpose.
