Welcome To My Past Tech/Fantasy Factbook For Use With Ceaden Designs In Mind


Take Head Ye Who Enter Here!


This factbook is designed for use in the Ceaden PT Role play. However, It can also be used as a base template for any future PT/Fantasy endeavors that I may choose to delve into. This is my first attempt at this type of factbook, and thus please bear with me as this should constantly be considered a never ending work in progress.

NOTE: These are the BASE resources you MAY Start with. No matter where your plot of land is. The way it works is when you first join one of the staff members will give you a number. Depending on your number is whether or not you will start with more or less than the base number of resources. The numbers are 1-6 and results are as follows:

Important People And Places Within The Lands Of Galanor


-Kingdom Mines-


It soon came to the attention of the King and his court that the new fledgling kingdom was going to need a source of raw materials to fuel their current and future ambitions. After a short period of prospecting, it was soon discovered that the nearby mountain range near the eastern border of the Kingdom contained a hearty amount of raw materials.

Within a short time, pioneer teams were dispatched from the capital city and made their way across the gentle rolling grasslands to the bitter mountains. Upon arrival the pioneer teams established a walled city nearby to house not only the miners and their entourage, but provide the necessary facilities to process the mined materials and prepare them for transport west.

The twin mines were named after a pair of prospectors who were killed accidentally during their exploration of the surrounding mountains. The mines names are Alluvial (which is located in the southern end of the range)and Wesselton (located north of Alluvial).

-Kingdom Settlements-


Actartene:
Actartene is the name of the settlement that was established by the pioneers to lend support to the twin mines Alluvial and Wesselton. It is a small settlement surrounded by a thick defensive wall made of hardy oak from the surrounding forest.

Actartene is a city that never seems to rest. At night, the sound of hammers fill the night under an orange glow emanating from the many furnaces as raw materials are processed and made ready for shipment back to the Kingdoms trading centers for distribution.

Eulus:
Eulus was renamed in honor of the Galanor general who captured it during the Unification War. Eulus is currently the most southern city in the Kingdom, and is charged with over watching the southern border and surrounding landscape. As such, the city was upgraded with a defensive wall made of wood to better protect it against the unknown frontier surrounding it.

Freyrgard:
Freyrgard is the current capital settlement of the Kingdom, from which King Lewis sits on his iron throne made from the armor of his defeated enemies and reigns his will upon the surrounding Kingdom.

The city is a medium sized city surrounded by a hardy stone wall and defensive towers. It dominates the surrounding landscape from atop a grassy hill and can be seen for some distance off, its many banners fluttering in the wind. A collection of nearby natural springs provide fresh and clean water to the cities citizens year round, even during the harshest winter or summer drought.

-Ports/Harbors-


Clearwater:
The Commercial Harbor of Clearwater is named such because of the clear, blue waters that surround the busy harbor. The bottom is soft and consists of fine sands and light green plant life.

The Harbor is rather large for a Kingdom the size of Galanor, consisting of several piers and warehouse districts. The streets are paved in cobblestone to aid in the ease of transport of the many good being received or shipped. The surrounding city by nature caters to the many sailors who visit the port. As such, the city contains an overly large amount of Inns, brothels, and gambling dens to entertain the masses.
