Then most likely the nation in question, would either not have the resources for space travel or have an Army Air Corps or Army Air Force.

Our Coast Guard cutters are probably the only ships that can be considered warships. Since my main storyline takes place in an alternate 1940s, I'll describe thusly.

Steel-hulled ships, with flare mortars, powerful searchlights, and deployable skiffs. Armament consists of a 76mm, articulated bow gun, and several pintle-mounted .50 cal machine guns. The guns almost never see use outside of warning shots and training volleys.

New Kesheru only has one type of warship (soon available for purchase internationally). The Spire Class hover ship. A massive floating battle ship which is the nation's primary and only warship. Able to travel over all terran and limited flight.

Large enough for a crew of 1,000. Holds 10,000 troops and equipment. 6 Railguns, 4 Rail Catapults, 50 AA guns, 50 AI guns, 25 AT guns, 10 AM guns. Assualt ramps allow for the departure of an entire legion of troops in moments. A built in landing strip allows for the takeoff and landing of 10 standared sized fighter craft.

Well, due to the varied nature of naval warfare, the Orussian Empire doesn't have a truly 'primary' warship. However, we do have several ship classes that act as flagships of the fleets. They are as follows:

The most powerful gun/missile armed surface warship in the CTPN fleet is the Constitution class battleship BBG (effectively a heavily upgraded, partially rebuilt version of the real world Iowa class battleships as they were in the 80's and early 90's). These ships have been redesigned to be Sea Control assets with an emphasis on near immunity to low cost terrorist tactics like suicide boat/small plane swarms and long range bombardment platforms with high survivability expectations.

Allen M. Sumner class is like a Super Fletcher

might want to upgrade to Gearing class destroyers soon (called "long-hulled Sumner" by many sailors, has more weapons than a Sumner class, is more seaworthy (Sumners were a bit overloaded which is why thy stretched the hull for Gearing), and has increased fuel bunkerage for a longer range.
