What is your peoples' view of Socialism?

A wonderful complement to private property. In extremes howevr, it's just as destructive as free enterprise. We have a capitalist economic system, but we also implement liberal socialist policies to keep things in check.

Dakini Femina does not believe in extremes, or dogma-worship. We take what we will because it works for us, not necessarily because it follows a particular train of thought.

The prevailing opinion in Krijera is: Socialism is the most perfect economic system ever devised. To bad it can't ever possibly work. With machines, maybe. Not with people.

The Anglynovan Federation currently operates with a mixed-economy, and because it is a state transitioning away from communism, socialism is prevalent in the nation in some form or another. Officially, communism is a banned ideology. However, the Anglynovan Communist Party is still active in remote, rural regions.

Socialism, when used with capitalism, is acceptable in Anglynova.

We believe that socialism is a menace and a threat to freedom and democracy. That is why socialism and communism is banned, because they oppose liberty and democracy.

It is a mental degeneration and a socialist is not that different from a child throwing a tantrum because some other child have nicer toys than him so it was not only outlawed after the civil war but it is also generally despised by most people.

Socialism enjoys fringe support from radical leftists. Social democracy, on the other hand, has widespread support, and the SDP is one of the two most powerful political parties in the Republic.

In Socialdemokraterne the ideology of Social Democracy following the Nordic model reigns. Strong unions are present with high membership rates (96% of our citizens are in some union), a generous public benefits package is available to all citizens, and private ownership of all non-essential services keeps the markets loose and thriving. Socialism is not a banned political school, but it is seen as somewhat unnecessary due to the already high general quality of life. The resident Communists and Socialists have formed a united party (Enhedslisten), but even so this party is fairly small and must temper its rhetoric significantly to maintain any sort of coalition.

Glenmere was and is built upon the Free Market, so...yeah. Government is small and very limited at all levels, the markets are largely unrestricted by the state, and most people like it like that, to be honest. The world isn't just all socialists waiting to happen, my friends.
