What is your nation's army uniform?

[Fantasaia]

Fantasaian military wear is very simple and very identifiable but however variable. The military in Fantasaia is divided up into Sectors for each of the nations three regions: The Central Region, The Middle Region, and The Outer Region. Each region has a different military outfit as well as different military technology.

Central-Region Military Wear & Gear

Red Military Jumpsuit: Member's of the Fantasaia Army in the Central Region of the nation will wear red jumpsuits. The appearance of the suits can be compared to that of Zero Suit Samus and maybe even a Star Trek uniform. The jackets will have a pheonix, the Fantasaia national animal and symbol on the flag on the back.

Blue Military Jacket: All humanoid members of the Fantasaia army in the middle-region will wear a Blue Military Jacket and blue pants. The jackets have a pheonix, the Fantasaia national animal and symbol on the flag on the back.

Blue Cap: A blue cap at the top of every army member's head is also very fashionable.

Animal Wear: For our animal fighters in the war we also have designed special military wear. Animal units will wear a blue cloak with a pheonix on both sides as well as armored plates underneath.

Outer-Region Military Wear & Gear

Traditional Armor: Warriors of the outer region will wear armor similar to that of Japanese samurai for protection. All armor will sport a pheonix on the chest plate and the back plate.

Everybody has a custom-made ceremonial uniform, including reserves like these shown above, made to fit perfectly for their bodies. This is practical because our army greatest strength is in individual competence, not numbers.

In order to eliminate sexism, all individuals must wear these uniforms. These are all kevlar-enforced. People who do not want their legs torn off wear kevlar leggings. The only colors allowed for leggings are black and purple.

Different regiments and private bodyguards have different uniforms. The Navy, however, however, has a common uniform, though I can't show it here. The police are looking into uniforms, but currently wear black armbands over civilian clothes. The Provisional Government is considering a single Army uniform to match the Navy, however.

Why do people always underestimate my knowledge of Nazi Germany? Have you seen my country recently?

I realize this, thank you. I have no problem with Germans, or even "Nazis," especially those who joined under patriotic circumstances without full comprehension of Hitler's nutcase policies. I know many people who were extremely proud to be German when Hitler was in power. They felt like humans again after the embarrassment of the Treaty of Versailles. "When Hitler was in power," they say, "at least the trains ran on time."

They were soldiers, just like we were. They just wore a different uniform and happened to have a psychopath in control of their orders. The Waffen-SS should be studied in every modern military college - they were an excellent fighting force in every sense of the word. But do the horrible crimes they committed during the course of the war nullify that? Under the circumstances, in this day and age, I think not.

Generally, most soldiers are issued MARPAT camouflage as their garrison uniform. Considering L3's military is comprised of former United States soldiers and Marines, most these men are nothing more than mercenaries equipped with ridiculously expensive and advanced gear, thus there is no true 'dress uniform'.



The primary combat load is either a DragonSkin or Modular Tactical Vest, Lightweight Helmet and the Improved Load-Bearing Equipment (ILBE), along with standard MARPAT blouse and trousers. More specialised equipment includes the Flame Resistant Organisational Gear (FROG) balaclava, shirt and trousers for operating in high-temperature environments or areas liable to include either anti-vehicle or anti-personnel IEDs or mines.

The entire uniform is hopefully due to replaced by the Lyran Disruptive Pattern Combat Uniform (LDPCU), BALCOTH helmet and Dauntless Ballistic Vest, although the latter two will most likely be necessitating a proprietary solution from L3 itself, due to export restrictions.
