Family Background: One of the last of a powerful, ancient and extinct race, the Remingtons, a Ruberian Angelic clan, have ruled over the Commonwealth for over a millenium, inheriting the throne since the collapse of the Remitonov dynasty. Specializing in the dangerous magical art of pyromancy, the Remingtons were a warrior clan, striking fear into the hearts of men across the Astoli continent. Their prowess, second to none, were legendary and indeed feared for their berserker abilities. However, the Angels were not without weakness, and although the secrets behind their vulnerability was lost, the people who possessed the means to kill them still walk the earth. The one clan the angels feared more than the gods themselves... the last Kriegschmied clan - the human Wolfenstein family.

Remitonov Clan
A clan once thought to be long extinct, the Remitonovs, the Angels of Water, were infamous for their formidable mastery of water magistry. Some of the greatest and dangerous rulers of the ancient kingdom of Amythyist, their prowess in the field of hydromancy, coupled with their characteristic white hair and red eyes and their cold personality had thus earned them the name of 'Ghosts of Winter'. However, since their apparent demise and disappearance since the end of the Remitonov dynasty, the clan was thought to have died out centuries ago... until thirty years ago...
As the Ilyavian revolution gained momentum, a leader rose to challenge the rule of the Remington family. His name was Yuri Nikolayevich Remitonov - the last Angel of Water. In true defiance of his lineage, Yuri vowed to lead the revolution to victory and overthrow the then Tsarina, Ariel Remington. However, despite many spectacular victories, the Gvardiya eventually managed to turn the revolutionaries against their leader by exposing the one secret he held on to the most - his link to the throne. No soon was the Angel captured and executed by the Gvardiya did the revolution crumble. But even after this apparent victory, the revolution quickly returned to haunt the ruling nobles of Amythyist - the new Ghost of Winter, and Yuri's daughter, Svetlana...
