Tourism in your Nation

Postby Sovieticanas » Sun Jan 08, 2012 11:54 pm

Take a Vacation to The People's Republic of Sovieticanas

The Stunningly beautiful and environmentally friendly tropical nation of Sovieticanas has become a hotspot for tourism in recent years. This year, the government of Sovieticanas is funding an international recognition of Tourism on the Island nation, with ads appearing everywhere, including the famous American "New York Times." The following is a "Taste of Sovieticanas," to convince readers to come and enjoy what it has to offer.

Image
Here, the schoolchildren of Sovieticanas are enjoying their mandatory one hour of physical activity. This has helped to make Sovieticanas one of the healthiest and fittest nations in the world.

Image
In this picture, Soldiers guard the Mausoleum of Vitorio Scaletta, the current leader of Sovieticanas. Soldiers like these can be found on almost every street corner, making crime on the tropical island virtually non-existent.

Image
Here we can see the famed Caribbean Cuisine that Sovieticanas is famed for, meals like these adorn the tables of every citizen and their beloved in Sovieticanas for dinner, while Vitorio Scaletta addresses the nation on his daily political coverage on the official Sovieticanas news channel.

Vitorio Scaletta, the very beloved and respected leader of Sovieticans. He was brought to power when he conquered the oppressing Capitalist Regime that gripped the heart of Sovieticanas and its people for so many decades.

Even today, Cars like these, commonly called "Yank Tanks" in Sovieticanas, fill the streets of the nation, with young teenage drivers cruising the country having a great time.

If there is one thing Sovieticanas is known for, it is the beautiful beaches, this lovely photo shows the famous Varadero beach, along with the world famous Varadero hotel. This tourist hotspot is responsible for the infamous Capone-Barbarro shootout of 1951.

So now Sovieticanas wants to hear from you, what is the tourism in your country like, and what does it have to offer? Please comment if you would like for more information about Sovieticanas to be posted. Thank You.

The Rogue Nation of Death Metal has thrived on tourism.

Every day hundreds of people come to our nation to enjoy the nation's daily free heavy metal concerts of all subgenres, visually striking architecture and mountainous scenery. A true party destination, the country also has legal (but regulated) recreational drug pharmacies and bordellos. The country also is known for being a manufacturer of musical instruments, and it's not uncommon for tourists to leave the country with a custom-built electric guitar.

The country is also known for the School of Shred, a college where people from all over the world can learn from top-notch instructors how to play guitar, bass, drum, or even master vocals in several styles. The School of Shred also features lectures and seminars open to visitors to the country.

Tourists are encouraged to spend not only by minimal markup but also a complete lack of sales tax.

Getting to Povos do Mar can be either a very dangerous venture or a very expensive one due to its lack of international ports and airports and its distance from other nations. Because of those factors, most people coming aboard are poor immigrants or rich people who can afford private ships. There are no facilities for tourists and they must request to stay in another person's home or stay in an unused home if they are lucky enough to find one available. Tourists can stay for a fortnight if they have found an unused home or they can stay until the family they are staying with no longer wants them in their home.
Regardless or perhaps because of the complications in becoming a temporary visitor to the country, tourism is quite popular, though many tourists are turned away.

There's tourism here. It varies from people who visit our museums to academia, from people who enjoy hiking in the grasslands to the climbers of the Nordica Alps or canoeing in the many fjords. It's not a major industry, though.

Tourism is out largest industry. We occasionally change our tourist campaigns. Our current one is hearing the stories of the locals. We scatter stories from all over the country to show people how great the entire country is so people will go around the entire nation. These are true strories in the ads. Each ad is a different story and they all end in this "For more stories, visit Kalaspia-Shimarata"
Kalaspia-Shimarata's flag represents the Union between K&S. The dark blue represents the sea and the light blue represents the sky. In Kalashi language considers light blue and dark blue to be different colours. England colonised, and unified K&S, between 1774 and 1953, and English, light blue and dark blue are considered to be the same colour. Therefore, the contrast between dark blue and light blue represents the union, but the differences between K&S where as blue being two but simultaneously one colour represents K&S being two, but simultaniously one entity. The opposite to the symmetry represents the unity and indipendance of K&S, whilst also representing the Kalashi culture of opposite symmetry.KS is 75% Christian, hence the cross.

Tourism is a significant industry in Saurisia, for there are plenty of amazing sights to see, places to visit, spectacular wildlife largely unique to this crummy mammal-dominated world, and unique cultures to witness. Of course, this is if the tourists are brave enough to venture to a nation of largely xenophobic anthropomorphic Reptiles.

Aurora Confederacy situated on the western shores of the Pacific is dominated by a steep mountain range to the north, and clear ocean shores to the south and East, with the central plains being the fertile breadbasket.

one of the main features is the Bay of solice,
Image
mariners found the bay of solice to give them refuge during typhoon season

moving inland the scenery is dominated by terraced hills
Image this land is also habitat to the Mountain fox, closely related to the Urban European Fox, the Mountain Fox is protected by Aurora Confederacy law.

Moving right up to the extreme north of the country is the Northern range,
Image, home to Mount Halvaar and Mount Gavara, the nation's two active volcanoes.

Tourism in The confederacy is dominated by eco tourism, mountain treking and scuba diving. Bay of Solice has around 40 sunken ships in it from the second world war, providing a habitat for fish of all species, and excellent diving opportunity
Imagecan't scuba dive, then hire a tourist submarine, trips cost around 50 northern dinars and last for 2 hours.

When it comes to our hotels, service is key, yes we have our hilton and hyatt chain along with marriotts, however we have our own Cascade Lodge chain, providing excellent levels of service at a price everyone can afford, 15 nights will cost around 370 Northern Dinars Per Person, with this you get a TV with 1000 channels, all inclusive meals and free access to gymnasiums and swimming pools.

To get around the confederacy there is Foxhound buses, Taxi's and a reliable train system operated by Project Aurora and Trans Polar Railways. Valeria Port Aurora is on the coast, with the cultural city of Peace Valley being 600km to the north, by train thats a little over 1 hour away.

Such is the speed and punctuality of the railways, they have become a tourist attraction in their own right, drawing significant numbers of tourists from Japan, who used to their Shinkansen bullet trains, are impressed by the ICX, TGX and Orbis trains which routinely push 600km/h speeds in service.

It is however one odd feature, Our domestic electricity supply is 110 volts direct current, the rest of the world uses alternating current, Aurora Confederacy is the only nation in the world to use DC

Mandicoria receives a huge amount of tourists each year in order to see on of our magnificent military parades.

The UCSM is magnificent for its forests and tundras, and those areas alone in the tourism industry generate about 2 billion dollars each year.

Mandicoria is also famous for its great foods and extraordinary scenes.

Valcluse has a very large tourism industry which is the second biggest aspect of our economy after agriculture. In the summer, tourists come and flock to the coast to see the beautiful Riviera and experience the Mediterranean lifestyle as well as the nightlife of two of the country's biggest cities as well as see the beaches and swim in the sea. The countryside also experiences a big surge in tourists during the summer months, with many older tourists going on wine tours and visiting ancient ruins.

In the winter months, Valcluse also benefits from being at the southern end of the French Alps and thus has over two dozen private and public ski fields and several resort towns. As well as this, the location of some of the cities being less than an hours drive from some of the ski fields is a big drawing card for those who want a cosmopolitan feel to their getaway.
