Women are allowed to the military (Army, Navy, Air Cavalry and Space Cavalry).
However: They serve in seperate units from men and they are not allowed in the infantry or the foreign legion.
Sultan Suleiman Khan let them serve in the Navy in 2014 as part of other modernisation forms.
A nation which partly represents my views.

Yes, women are permitted to serve in the armed forces across all roles as required by service. Units of the Sunese armed forces are 'co-ed', there are no gender-separated regiments, discipline is rigidly enforced in the event of inappropriate behaviors, we have fraternization laws for a reason.

Going by both traditional western views on the biological, historical, and religious explanations as to why men and women are different, the North American Environmental Alliance does NOT allow women to participate in combative military roles.

We have been considering whether or not to allow women to participate in non-combative roles alternatively, but we believe this could lead to issues at some points. Christianity, biology, psychology, and military statistics make it clear that men and women are very different when presented with combative roles, with men outperforming women vastly, influencing our final decision. Same decision goes for the police.

But, our nation does allow for citizens to form armed militias to aid the police and root out crime. In this case, there is no actual restriction to women owning, crafting, distributing, and using weapons (according to our analysts, a fair number of women have been noted carrying handguns in their purses to having hunting shotguns slung over their backs). The only thing that stops women from participating in militias and/or becoming vigilantes is the belief in conservative societal roles, specifically women being the "stay-at-home" sort and men protecting the household.

Both men and women are allowed to join the military and both men and women are conscripted at 18 (non-party members) or 20 (party members).

Do they serve in seperate units from men?
No. Except for the Amazonian Legion which is all female and, likewise, the Valkyries (queen's bodyguard).
What branches of the armed forces are they allowed to serve in?
All (But they must meet the same fitness tests as men).

At present, we remain unclear on your concepts of gender. In the interest of providing
an expeditious answer, we note that all of our citizens are expected to serve in our
military forces, as we are presently fighting off an ancient enemy in an ongoing war.

What's a military? Never heard of it.
O lieb', solang du lieben kannst!
O lieb', solang du lieben magst!
Die Stunde kommt, die Stunde kommt,
Wo du an Gräbern stehst und klagst!

Und sorge, daß dein Herze glüht
Und Liebe hegt und Liebe trägt,
Solang ihm noch ein ander Herz
In Liebe warm entgegenschlägt!

Und wer dir seine Brust erschließt,
O tu ihm, was du kannst, zulieb'!
Und mach' ihm jede Stunde froh,
Und mach ihm keine Stunde trüb!

O love, as long as love you can,
O love, as long as love you may,
The time will come, the time will come
When you will stand at the grave and mourn!

Be sure that your heart burns,
And holds and keeps love
As long as another heart beats warmly
With its love for you

And if someone bears his soul to you
Love him back as best you can
Give his every hour joy,
Let him pass none in sorrow!

Why would Rome call for daughters when what we require is sons?

True it may be, that women may... occasionally find themselves within the ranks of the common foot soldier, and even more likely to find themselves levied in times of need.

But the role of a woman in war is best managed at home, keeping the fields and business steady, as fathers, husbands, and sons take to the field to defend our home. And when all is said and done, they can help our brave soldiers by bringing more children into the world, and thus, future soldiers.

And is this not the greatest duty of the women of Rome? One could argue being a mother and bringing new blood into this world is the greatest contribution to the war machine we have.

Regardless, some women have found it fit to bring themselves to join in battle, usually of the nobilitas, and thus are an exception to the rule, more capable than the usual rabble that make up the army.

Women are not allowed to serve in combat roles in the Lewdamish Defence Force, both because combat is not considered a proper role for women, and because female combat personnel are not militarily advantageous. Lewdamish women may serve their country in non-combat roles or in the defence industry.
