We have conscription so yes. Females are obliged to serve between ages 17 - 24 but are forbidden to complete Tours abroad unless a military emergency is declared. Most women who remain in the army once completing their mandated service are medics and cooks for the army.

Yes.

As long as anybody applying are able to meet the minimum physical requirements to join (Which are the same for both genders), they are both capable of signing up.

As part of gender equality laws that hold true across the Confederacy, any conscription law (Usually apply only in the most dire situations) established in any member state must list women along with men in the lists of those eligible to serve (Requiring only men and leaving women free from conscription is seen as a type of discrimination against men).

Women do serve in the Litan military, however the army is where things tend to become more male inclined. Women are not barred from any job in the army, however the physical standards are much high than that of the other three branches. As a result there is a much lower percentage of women in combat arms MOS' than men. Special operations and elite forces are even more one sided with females only making up around 37% of both groups

Of course women can serve, any citizen at least 20 years old is allowed to apply, so long as they don't have any medical conditions that would prevent them, and can meet the basic requirements of the job

Even the various militias allow women

Women are permitted to serve in the Royal Nursing Corps and the Royal Staff Corps. The Royal Army Nursing Corps, or RNC, is entirely comprised of lady nurses, sisters and matrons, whilst the Royal Staff Corps has a number of women staff clerks serving as typists, stewardesses, librarians, projectionists, drivers, accountants &c.

Dear Lords (yes, that’s plural, I’m a Hindu), what the hell is going on ‘ere?

And yes, women are allowed to serve. They are conscripted at the age of 20 and train for 6 months, after which they are given choice of whether to serve professionally or in reserves. In reserve and patrol units men and women are integrated, active units are segregated.

Yes. Women are legally equal to men in our society and thus have all the same privileges and responsibilities as men. They can serve in the same units as men and in all branches of the armed forces too.

They are allowed to serve, although barracks are separate. Promotion and services are strictly merit based, the Army cares less about what’s between your legs and more about how well you can aim your gun.

Women are allowed enlist and serve in the same jobs as men in the military, even in special forces units such as the Gold Berets. However, women are not drafted into the military. The draft is only required for men.

ahem...there are only two genders...if you don’t know your gender you have a problem...and I am seriously happy that the nation does not reflect your political views

As a nation of AI [artificial intelligence] and VI [virtual intelligence] Stura "technically" don't have male or female genders. They do however, commonly come to reference themselves by a gender when in a physical form that fits, and typically come to prefer to stick with that gender. That being said, yes, Stura who identify as female are allowed to serve in the same capacity as those who identify as a male can.

Women are allowed to serve in all military roles so long as they meet the necessary requirements, which are the same regardless of gender.
