Lieutenant Isabela Barbarossa (pictured above), the pilot of an Arrow-II Aerospace Reconnaissance Vehicle in the YellowApple Aerospace Defense Corps, attests that women are very much allowed to serve in any branch of the YellowApplan armed forces. Women like Lieutenant Barbarossa play an important role in the Aerospace Defense Corps as pilots, their smaller stature making them a perfect fit for the cramped cockpits of YellowApplan fighter-class aerospace vehicles.

Yes, my country strongly believe that everyone should have a chance to serve the country through any military branch.

Everybody are equal and can join the military as long as they pass the very hard training. Almost all medical staff are female.

In Alekoslav women are allowed to serve, but only with a special enlistment therefore provided medical history papers, physical condition papers, and a some other paperwork. Women are mostly enlisting as nurses or other medical staff as we have a lot of restrictions for women in the regular serve military.

If a person passes the psychological screening which shows you are willing to shoot people then you can join the army. Some men don't pass, some women do.

Yes, females are allowed and encouraged to serve. However, they are all still serving on a voluntary basis - only males can be involuntarily conscripted into the military.

Females serve in the same units as their male colleagues and they are usually not segregated. Some (but not all) barracks even have males and females share the same sleeping rooms.

Females are allowed to serve in the same branches of the military as males without exception, and they are eligible for all of the same positions (including leadership positions).

By primarily legislation, most roles in the military were open to candidates of both sexes.

Exceptions are gender-sensitive officials, such as members of certain medical disciplines.

There has, however, only been one female Chief of the Military Staff, the highest professional military officer in China. She served between 1989 and 1991, having previously been the Supreme Commander of the Joint Logistics Services, as it is customary for the holder of this office to retire after two years of service in this capacity.

The seven branches are as follows:
  • The Military Staff
  • Army
  • Navy
  • Air Force
  • Unified Logistics
  • Military Police
  • Political Warfare

The right to nominate the next Chief of Military Staff rotates amongst these seven branches.

Any person is free to serve in the Verdiger Armed Forces, be it man, woman or LGBT, be it in the front lines or in support roles, just as long as the person is aged 18 and above.

We have yet to have an LGBT general, although Maj. Gen. Janus Eriksson, a self-professed LGBT, married to Lars Jyrikborg, a hotel manager, is getting there.

They are allowed to but must be able to meet the same requirements as men do. As such on average a much higher percentage of women that attempt to join are able to get in the Luminary Corps rather than in the general forces. Noting that the general forces are far more physically demanding while the luminary corps are far more intellectually demanding and that this applies to general recruits as opposed to officers.
As officers perform significantly less physical work, women that apply tend to have higher relative acceptance rates than is the case of standard enlistment.

Gender equality is a big part of our country every gender is allowed to serve in the military, we do not have any reactionary laws prohibiting people to serve in the military by gender.

Women are required a year's military service, just like men. Women have historically taken important positions of command in our military, though they were at their highest ratio to men during the 1200s-1300s CGh (our timeline's 1600s-1700s). A few units, such as the Venaic Warmaidens, are exclusive to women by tradition.
