Magic : Outlawed, or Accepted?

Magic is an intricate part of H-Alba's major religion. As such, it is fully legal, although not openly taught to the Public. People wishing to study must attend courses at one of the Religious Universities through out the nation, though this requires being a member of The H-AOD (The H-Alban Order of Druids). The H-AOD has four devisions, Lay, Bard, Ovate, and Druid. Attending a Religious University requires initiation into the Bard Devision, and thus you become what is known as "Clèir" or Clergy.

As such, to study magic one must enter the Clergy to get a proper education in Magic. However, there are a few people who have learnt a basic knowledge of Magic without attending a University, though their knowledge is little to nothing compared to the "Sinead-Clèir" (Senior Clergy) of the Druid devision.

Magic is incredibly rare in the Incorporation. Dark magic is not accepted-violaters will be put in the stocks, have rotten tomatoes thrown at their face, and then be deported. White magic is
(somewhat) acceptable, but only for the military or scientific study.

Accepted though a small percentage of people can use it or born with it, and those that can defer to others that are stronger in the use.

There are some who say friendship is magic, but they're usually quadrupedal foreigners. Friendship, in any case, is not regulated or taxed here.

Widely accepted and studied; magic is part of intricate life in Iclamian societies, especially in Minroz. That said magic is regulated by the Ministry of Magic, which is headed by the Grand Minister of Magic Huor Mireil in the Imperial Government.

Equine magic is well understood to be a scientifically-verifiable property of equine biology, and thus is quite well documented on a scientific standpoint. Other forms of magic are less known due to a lack of experience with them.

Use of magic is regulated, but civilians and government personnel both make extensive use of it. Upon its introduction to the Armed Republic the prime minister swiftly established a new cabinet position for oversight of the Institut for Overnaturlige Anliggender (the Department of Supernatural Affairs). This new agency exists to oversee enforcement of any and all magic-related laws and exerts its influence in all states.

An issue currently up for debate this year is whether magic should be added to Socialdemokraterne's public school curricula.

It contravenes the Christian foundation of our nation. Attempts to arrest a bring to trial the magickal tribal people of the rainforests have thus far been unsuccessful.

There are no laws specifically regarding magic, as we've never dealt with magic in the first place. Would magic, hypothetically, turn out to be perfectly possible in the FKR, then aside from the initial shock, and half of all laws of nature being thrown out of the window, it would just be perfectly legal, as long as magic is used responsibly and no law is broken with its use. This means that magic users would have to respect people's self-determinations and time travelling with magic to alter the universe would naturally be illegal as that would constitute to the co-ercion of millions of people to live in an alternate dimension.

It is legal in most of the absolute royal federation (even if it is banned in some realms) and even an important part of the holy chronicles (largest religion), However non-humans with magical abilities are highly distrusted to say the least as most people follow the chronological way of thinking that magic is a gift of the gods to mankind.
