Alcohol is definitely legal in Caramann - it's drunk from a young age, as it tends to be far healthier than the water. Light beers or mead are the most common drinks in the Kingdom, although some members of the nobility like to drink Imperial wine.

Alcohol is allowed to be consumed and sold on all days besides Sunday. There is no legal drinking age, just a buying age, which is 18.

Kentucky and Northern Virginia is a presidential republic, with conservatism (American Conservatism) being popular but liberalism (American Liberalism) being on the rise. This has created a mix of conservative and liberal ideas.

I am a strong supporter of a mixed-market economy, and the United States. I believe LGBT citizens are equal. When it comes to abortion I have rather mixed feelings, however in cases such as rape it should always be allowed.

there's no demand for it as a mind altering substance.
its only produced as a disinfectant and a cleaning solution.
we're not human and we're not from earth.
catnip, on the other paw ...

well mind altering substances are among the things not mass produced, along with cars, paved roads and fire arms.
but it IS right in our constitution, that anyone may possess anything they make themselves, as long as they don't produce or import it in mass quantiites and try selling it.

there's no age or any other kind of laws about it, other then against mass production, importation and buying and selling.
you're certainly welcome to consume as much as you can produce yourself, regardless of age or the rest of that either.
just don't be under the influence when operating anything that might put someone else at risk.
you can risk yourself to your heart's content too, just as long as you're not risking anyone else by doing so.

(just one more of the many reasons we have little trains and anti-gravity, instead of ground cars)
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.

"economic freedom" is "the cake"

Alcohol is legal in Imota. There's no official drinking age, but most shops will not sell alcohol to children of middle or high school age (the reasoning being that middle school is about when children start rebelling in earnest, and probably aren't buying that wine for their parents anymore). While most drinking establishments will serve alcoholic beverages to minors (as opposed to western-influenced restaurants, which almost never serve alcohol to minors), they are typically limited in the amount and types of alcohol they will be served. The most popular alcoholic beverage is traditionally sake, but mead cut with citrus juices (most often lemon or grapefruit) is gaining popularity.

Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.
