Our Hydrogen Plane is currently under repairs, and I couldn't find a suitable substitute."

Shrillland wrote:"And I have many to ask of yours," Orange Blossom replied, "First one I have to ask is, are you all right with a fellow delegate coming from one of the new Pony-led nations?" He said with a laugh. "Also, I've studied your nation, as I've studied many in my time, and your history fascinates me." They headed towards the vetting centre for whatever processes then needed to undertake with the aides.

There is even an organistion of these nations called the Coalition of Ponyist States or CoPS. Shrillland is one of it's key members. We're still Democracies, Oligarchies, Dictatorships or Monarchies, we just have a large number of these Ponies as well."
"As for our royal family, they were all executed back in 1991, at the end of the Revolution that formed our predecessor nation, the USSS. We have since been a Democracy, with the exception of the Unholy time, but that was so short we don't like to count it."

He hailed down the next taxi. "Government buildings please" he said in a hushed tone. a short drive later and Ceannt was fixing his tie, trying to remember if he had brought all of his documents in the suitcase by his side.
He was just inside the door when the receptionist recognized him. "You must be the Republican man", she said happily. "Correct". "Right this way Sir, our diplomat Thomas Rouge is waiting". He was led into a lovely warm wooden paneled office.
Rouge was a very friendly man. Ceannt had explained that the circumstances surrounding the independence of his nation were dire, they were effectively a phoenix rising from the ashes. Rouge could sympathise to an extent. Ceant then proceeded to get down to business."So, Mr. Rouge, tell me, what is Mourro in you eyes, and what is the Purple Party in Relation to Mourro?"

Shrillland wrote:"Well there are non-humans of many kinds in many parts of the world, Ponies are just one of them," Orange Blossom began, "Indeed there is a pony that shares my name in the Foreign Office if you can believe it. Still, the Dynamics are fairly well, as there have never been any serious conflicts between the races. Ponies do not have to lead the Government, it is merely something in our name to show that they play a role, and the Ponyist Philosophy plays a role in the Foundations of law. I assume such things are non-existant in your land."
"Anyway, our head of state is the President of the Federation, and Rarity is the President, and she has been since the second Revolution."

It should be a good dialogue to get to know each other's nation!!
Thomas Rouge was glad to meet another ambassador, even if he knew very little about the Poblacht Nua na hEireann government. As his name rather suggested, Thomas Rouge was the son of a prominent red-haired family from Saint Arthur's City's generation of stock market managers. His family was indeed very rich, though Thoma's passions veered more toward international harmony rather than domestic economics. After all, anyway, through his diplomatic actions he could perhaps foster new investments into the Mourron economy.
Tall and wearing his brown winter coat, he reached out to shake hands with and greet Seamus.
"A pleasure to meet you, Mr Ceannt." he beamed, taking a step across the office floor.
Rather taken-aback by the sudden questions upon their first few minutes of encounter, Thomas nodded and held his hands behind his back inoffensively.
"Well, why don't we discuss this on the train to Sain Arthur's? I'm sure you have many questions, and there are a good ten minutes to kill on the way."
He led Seamus out of the office and toward the Vetting Office, where Seamus would be cleared by the Bbalgus Corpus officers awaiting them.
"As for Mourro in my eyes," he turned, smiling while walking, "Mourro is of course a really modest nation. We are not a people who tend to brag or show off some military might. Nor would we ever dream of starting any wars. But even so, we have one of the most excellent eduction systems, that sees almost every child speaking several languages and learning several special skills, and we do have an incredible health system which is mostly free for most people. Oh, and I shouldn't forget Mourro's appreciation for liberty and freedom of speech. As you may know also, we are a magical country, though I myself am not very good at it. Our magical culture and diverse historical heritage is something I am very proud of.
And, well, the Purple Party is the governing party I work for of course, and it has been Mourro's ruling party since the notion of a 'party' ever began. It faces a few challenges now though, but in my eyes the Purple Party is the truest representation of the power shares that act as the engine of Mourro.
I should now also ask you a question then, Mr. Ceannt: why does your country carry such a long name? And what does it mean? Do also tell me a little bit about your government's style of rule. I'm curious to know who pulls the levers of such a Republic as yours!"

Ceannt considered his response carefully. "Well, the explanation behind our name goes deep into our history," he began, "Long before i was born, about 70 years ago, the first Poblacht na hEireann, Eire for short, was formed in the midst of oppression by an outside power for centuries beforehand. When the empire fell apart, we took our chance all those years ago and started our own, free, parliament for the first time ever [OOC-loosely based on modern Ireland.] It was all going well for around 70 years, but then we were dragged into a very unjust and immoral war by a treaty coalition which we were obliged to honor. As a result of the huge disagreement, a civil war broke out, the country was destroyed and we formed this new Republic, Poblacht Nua na hEireann from the ashes of the first republic." And so completed the answer to the first part of the question put to him, the satisfaction was evident on his face.
"Now, i will describe to you the ruling Republican Party. This party is drenched in the ideals of liberty, equality and fraternity. We aim to give liberty to all of our citizens, to keep far away from oppression. We strive to make all people equal regardless of race, gender or creed. and finally, we want brotherhood to exist in our nation. Even though a civil war is not long over, we are all on the same side now and we would like to heal the wounds as quickly as possible. We are the party that has taken power, but elections are planned as soon as the security of the state is ensured, which will be very soon.
Our leader and the President of the country is John Traynor, who fought in the civil war and was the most charismatic of our leaders. He holds little power however, the real power is in parliament, where there are a few main parties. Ourselves, the Socialists and Labor party are the biggest. The National Socialist party once existed but they were banned after there extreme racist views came to light.
Traynor's cabinet consists of, among other things, finance, defense and education. These are the three most important portfolio's right now as we strive to establish this country on the world stage. Now, if you have any more questions i will be happy to answer."
Ceannt looked up but Rouge was very busy taking notes. Ceannt had a little chuckle to himself when he realized how fast he had been talking, this came across as a wry smile between the two men from across the table.

Shrillland wrote:"Quite popular with most people since the Civil War, and a magic user herself," Orange Blossom said as he looked up to the building with blacked out windows," You see she's part of the sub-species of Unicorns that are able to practice a kind of magic themselves, not the kind that your peoples are capable of, but Magic nonetheless. She's a reasonable leader, willing to listen to anyone with a good idea, and she used to own and design a fashion label before entering politics."
Just then the report came to him of the momentous news of the change of government.
"A new party after all these centuries. How different Mourro will be."

She was tall with an athletic warrior's build that her armor could not hide, flaming red hair tousled from the recent ride, pale skin with the strange tattoos the Ohn often adopted, and the slightly pointed ears and amber eyes that were common to her race. She was actually rather beautiful in a hard sort of way, though no less disturbing to the more civilized for it and possibly more so.
She motioned to her "pack" to stay where she had left them and then turned back to the delegates with that wide smile, her canines showing almost gleefuly.
"How go the elections? To be honest, I had hoped that we would meet soon as changes have been taking place in Sidh Ohn as well."

"How go the elections? To be honest, I had hoped that we would meet soon as changes have been taking place in Sidh Ohn as well."
Mark James Omaro, tanned and smiling from his great experiences of sunshine and tribal treats in Sidh Ohn, had just been flown in from the Trade District of Sidh Ohn, where his embassy had been built for the Mourrons. He was tall, rather handsome, and wore sunglasses, even though it was winter in Mourro, albeit a sunny one.
He neatened up his black and white tuxedo, seeing the Sidh Ohn ambassador to Mourro approaching.
"What a great pleasure to meet you, Pack Ardri Aerhin! You must be missing the Sidh Ohn weather, right? Though Mourron winter is not too bad this year. I must say, while you were gone, the Gealach pack Market Stall is just booming with trade and life. I already miss it!"
They greeted appropriately, and a few aides unaware of Sidh Ohn culture flinched behind Omaro, but he laughed casually to try and relieve any tensions caused.
Rolling up a sleeve to check his watch, he revealed a black ink tattoo he had acquired in Sidh Ohn. It was not certain as to whether this was for artistic purposes, diplomatic purposes, or tribal purposes...
"Good news!" he said grinning, "There's a new Party ruling Mourro now. I'll still be the ambassador to Sidh Ohn though, so no worries! We should probably get going too. I'll have to ask you to drop off some of your more offensive weaponry at the Vetting Centre. You'll also need to have your pack security passed. We'll have everything of Sidh Ohn value secured safely for your return. Now, while we have a nice stroll toward the Vetting Centre, tell me how you've been finding life in Saint Arthur's City for a year!"
OOC: I trust that, since Aerhin is the ambassador to Mourro, she has been at the embassy at 3 Balari Street for the past year.
