The Paddington Film Festival
Today was the day before the start of the Paddington Film Festival.
The festival, which showcases the latest in released films from both Teddy and international markets, and also holds a competition for the best films of that particular year, is being held in northern Paddington for the 29th time. Stars arrived early in order to prepare for the five day event.
The film Operation Endex, which was released in February, is set to win big, with several nominations for it in the Best Picture, Best Acting and Best Soundtrack categories. The film was widely acclaimed by critics, due to its moral questions raised about the TBRE's doomsday procedure. It stars HM President Palchensky in a minor role, as himself, although the film mainly focuses on a fictional Minister of War played by Markus Brenny.
The Paddington Film Festival is held annually by the four largest film companies - Baren Pictures Ltd, Studios Teddy, Devoren Production Ltd and Teddy Motion Pictures Company Ltd - together, with backing from the TBRE government. Organizers of the film say that although they will naturally keep with tradition, this year's film festival will have surprises along the way. All eyes are on the secret category - one that changes every year - as well as tomorrow's opening night, which will be broadcast live on all major broadcasters such as the Teddy Broadcasting Authority.
