TurtleShroom doesn't usually use propaganda. We don't need to convince our people. The state has marched down one track for two hundred years to the point that society itself does the propoganda for us. No tax money required, but when we need to nudge the nation back into its rut, we usually just make an announcement or use our corporate ties to nudge culture against the problem.

We also criminalize anti-TurtleShroomer behavior, such as sodomy, buggery, adultery, drugs, and fornication. (-and yes, that does mean we have police ratios that earn awards.)

However, we are a little too free market. The only interference permitted in our Constitution is to permit fraud, crime, the Prohibition, and crushing/banning/raiding/destroying immoral industries (e.g. porn industry) and sexual occupations (strippers, prostitution, etc.). We do have gambling, though.

Propaganda in Mavorpen is typically to dispel myths about Socialism. We like to instill nationalism in our people and explain to them why Socialism is great. Propaganda typically tries to persuade people to think scientifically and creatively to spur innovation and growth, proving that we can not only be equally, if not more, productive our Capitalist "enemies", but that we can do it in a sustainable way without destroying the environment, creating economic imbalance, etc.

The government does not fund any particular propaganda, so most of propaganda broadcasting consists of various companies telling you why you should buy their stuff, and not their competitor's stuff. Since nothing actually prevents their competitors from doing the same thing, people have understandably become rather jaded and apathetic to this sort of thing.
