If one did happen, I would blockade the streets so all the rioters could be identified, and then promptly jailed or executed.

Riot or protest?
Police are the most nervous about Riots because they are the most common "crime" and usually don't deal with it much other
than hanging around so no one launches a mother****ing nuke or something.

Tear gas is tossed into the crowd and the rioters are sprayed with mace and pummeled with beanbag bullets. Live ammunition may be used on rioters that pose a serious, direct threat to innocents.

Then the people who are arrested are taken to a church and they get to talk to a religious leader, who shares some wisdom with them. After that, they work as a slave until their sentence is over.

How Do your police Disperse Rioters?

Tell them to "shoo...go home...get a life". Not that there are ever any riots.

Level 1: Nonviolent protests of any scale are considered a threat to order in Kuominwave, no matter the size. Local Public Security Bureau (PSB) units and potentially Internal Peacekeeping Force (IPF) paramilitary units ensure the protesters disperse, by non-lethal force (tear gas, electroshock batons) if necessary.

Level 2: Small scale riot. IPF now take a commanding role in handling the unrest, and focus on boxing in the rioters to a single block and capturing every one of them; any escaping rioter is a threat to society. IPF will still generally use non-lethal force but will shoot to kill if a civilian or an IPF trooper is in immediate danger. A curfew may be imposed on a limited radius, and PSB officers in protective gear can be seen blocking off roads to the site of turmoil.

Level 3: Moderate scale riot. Additional IPF units from other cities are called in to assist in suppressing the riot. Citywide curfew is placed for a definite time, where those violating the curfew are detained and prosecuted for rebellion against a direct order from authorities. IPF are allowed to spray live ammunition at a mob of rioters if an officer is killed or injured severely.

Level 4: Large scale uprising. At this point, the IPF completely replaces the local PSB as the acting authority, and all rioters are designated as enemy combatants. Utility helicopters are now used in an offensive role alongside combat drones to crush all resistance. If hundreds of civilians are to be caught in the crossfire, so be it. The citywide curfew is now indefinite, all internet services in the city are cut off, and civilians are completely restricted from entering or leaving the city until the riot is completely extinguished.

All that said, riots haven't existed since the formation of the Kuominwave Empire, for our nation is full of shiny happy people. Those who spread rumors suggesting otherwise just happen to 'disappear'.

But if there was a riot, every one of them would be killed on the spot, and an example made of anyone close to them. Asardia instills a culture of fear, thus reducing the need to worry about riots

Icarianna has never had a riot, so we'd be unprepared if one happened. Once, a large wedding party was mistaken for a riot, but it turned out to be happy drunk revelers who hurt nobody but themselves, maybe with some balance problems.
