We do not allow riots within our borders, if protests gather to a sizable extent then MetaCorps troops arrive on scene to deal with the situation in a decisive manner.

Riot control is something taken seriously in 114. Riot units are always given orders to under no circumstances use lethal force unless the lives of any leader if 114 are under immediate threat. While 114 riot units do carry live ammunition fire arms, they are rarely used. Our riot units are equipped with your traditional riot gear as well as the XTR-37 Assault Rifle and Hawken .50 cal pistol. Riots are rare in 114 as the island is constantly patrolled by armed military forces

Riots are quite rare in the Republics, due to our political system being very disarming to any potential riot, dissension is usually metered out in civilized fashion within the forums. Street violence and property damage is especially rare, due to the large amount of armed shop-owners and store keeps.

When that fails of course, different Republics have different methods. Ranging from appeasement, to standard tear gas and stun guns, to sending in the Gendarmeries to enforce order. Although, such aggressive matters will almost certainly bring them before the Council to explain themselves.
